@headcheese3 They both play far differently to be compared to. Touhou is just mostly about capturing spellcards and dodging dense patterns while this game is just purely proper shield timing and item chaining. :V

It is impossible for mere mortals to be good at this game and that is why I hate it so much, it has so much goddam potential to be a game for all ages and skill levels but noooooo...... it took the "must be a GOD' to play this game" route. Fucking asshole developers.
