Every man who puts himself out there knowing the risks needs to be commended. Rivalries and competition among the services are great but like you said we all fight and die. And being a US soldier I'll be the first to take my hat off in respect for the British military.
@Invalid20 Yes combat is different. It all changed when I first fought. I had to fight against the Georgians and it was frightening to say the least. Someone I didn't know, with different customs, from a different place, with nothing against me except my uniform, was doing everything he could to try to kill me. I didn't know him, but he had a different uniform so I fought with everything I had to kill him.

@modclan dude... i serve in the US army and we fight for days and days without eating... and mcdonalds and kfc? we train almost all day and have maybe 2 hours rest .... you will never see a fat soldier or out of shape .. if they were they woulden't be in battle now would they?
