  • Thank you!

  • Fantastic shots, think you were really lucky !

  • When they're chomping away it's amazing how little they care for a camera 3 inches away! I got a few photos of one of these guys myself, close up and clear as day.

I think they secretly want to be TV Stars

  • Watch out for those thorns ! Excellent footage, 5*

  • Brilliant ! ~ the mouse stayed long enough for you to video ;-)

  • Wow you got so close...great to watch !

I didnt know they eat those flowers, interesting.

    5 stars

Thanks a lot for sharing all your beautiful videos. Do you live in Cornwall SecretPenfold ?

  • What an obliging mouse!

  • With the snow falling thick up here in the North East England it is lovely to look at this. He seems so tame. Great shots.

  • Can't believe you got so close. He doesn't look like he minds you being there at all. Great shots. Jane

  • No, he was a pretty laid-back kinda mouse!! best, secretpenfold

  • Ahh that's a new generation of Wood mouse (Utubus naturellus) that instinctively knows how to use colour and HD bushes to exploit natural history buffs!

  • tee hee! quite right, he obviously fancied his chances as 'Britain's Next Top Wood Mouse' ...

  • Oh, what great footage! Is he eating gorse flowers?

  • well I had thought he was eating the dry husks of the gorse flowers but in the second half he definitely seems to be eating the yellow flower petals which is not something I would have expected. mind you the flowers do have that lovely peachy (or some say coconut) aroma, so maybe he couldn't resist a nibble...
