Supposedly it was a russian techno-pop group that wanted to enter the Eurovision Song Contest. Back in those days, they were supposed to perform something related to Europe's technological evolution. I guess they came up with the story about spacerace, space conquest and love, mixed with a funny and original touch.

Don't know the official outcome of the song, but it ended up all around the internet. Thank you for your comments.
