back in the day there were attempts to make a live action wonder woman tv series. theres a really crappy pilot floating around. it was more of a sit com. could explain why they could use wondergirl and not wonder woman.
of course this doesnt explain why speedy was in the teen titans and green arrow wasnt in the justice league...
@astrofabio68 Cant explain whay Wonder Woman wasn't in this cartoon (although Wonder Girl was freatured in the Teen Titans cartoons from the same studio), but the rights to Batman was still tied up with the Adam West show at the time this cartoon was made.
Cthulhu is not a sea creature. If he were he wouldn't be dead as long as he's underwater. This is a common mistake started after Lovecraft's death by his biggest fan.
@Akidcalledgrim He can also control DCthulu, since that giant abomination is technically a sea creature...as well as microbes within the actual water droplets, so yeah: Aquaman controls a near God AND the actual friggen ocean.

Okay, so 40 YEARS after the creation of these cartoons, here's something that STILL doesn't make sense to me. This intro sets up that Aquaman is an integral part of the Justice League of America. So why doesn't he show up in ANY of the three JLA cartoons??
What's even weirder -- they also produce three Teen Titans cartoons, and Aqualad (with Jerry Dexter's voice) is in all three of those.
