  • Is the adoptive daughter supposed to be 40?

  • da fuq did i just watch

  • subtle

  • im one of her fans.

  • when i watch this i think of what a divorce is like lol

  • This is why I love the movie "What Ever Happened to BabyJane?" (1962)

We get to see Bette Davis kick the crap outta Joan Crawford's crippled ass. WOOT!

  • Joan was so fucked up

  • she had it coming

  • god this is awesome. i hope it IS true!

  • im pretty sure that movie is based on my childhood.

  • I wanna fuck that bitch up so bad lol.

  • Joan stradles Christina until her platex 18 hour girdle gives out))) leaving her midwrift exposed.

Christina screams her head off filling mommies crotch stroking her beavor. Every body comes

to see the action! as Joan chokes the hell out of Christina before reaching a orgasm.

  • Having a agressive mother could prove fatal! especially when your wetting your panties,

on a shag carpet. Your mommies got you in a wrestling hold screaming with her

handle bar eye brows quivering. Poor Christina being choked into obedience and

    appreciation.

  • Faye Dunaway did a terrific job acting, you have to admit. She did later on regret doing this movie on Joan Crawford, since it gave her (Dunaway) bad publicity galore.

  • Joan kicks ass!

  • Both of Crawford's rivals of longest standing, Norma Shearer and Bette Davis outlived Joan long enough to see this. I wonder if they did, and I wonder if they laughed.

  • LMFAO! Horrific and hilarious at the same time! And Joan grabs her own vagina at 01:33

  • @officialdesmonheck ....at the time when i first saw it, it was shocking, but now after all is said and done with the movie, it is hilarious but sad too....

  • Mentally illness and child abuse is so entertaining. It's soo funny the way Joan treated Christina.

  • I read that they did add a lot of drama into this film to make it more appealing for the big screen. In my estimation Christina was more like the daughter in another film that Joan Crawford acted superbly in and that's "Mildred Pierce"....

  • @gandhara6 yeah, you're right. Read the book. It's nothing like the movie. None of this shit happened. The over-acting in here is so embarrassing but at the same time it's funny because you wonder how a director could have allowed this to be released LoL but ya, the movie's bullshit.

  • Omg I did the pause at 0:57 hahahahahaha priceless!!! This bitch is fucking crazy LoL but none of this shit ever happened. Joan wasn't really like that. This movie was dolled up for Hollywood and they blew everything out of proportion. In the book, it's totally different and Christina's actually the brat.

  • Watch from 0:35-0:44. Before playing the part Faye Dunaway probably asked Eric Freeman (a.k.a. "Garbage Day!") for lessons in effective eyebrow movement techniques.

  • Pause At 0:57 WOW LOL

  • that's what I call a great family

  • You know what they say, spare the rod, spoil the child. I'm glad that there are still some parents out there willing to do what's necessary.

  • 00:45 if Ayn Rand had childeren, this is what they would say to her.

  • @SLATania74

Imagine what Sarah Palin's children would like to say to her.

  • @SLATania74 Idiot

  • @SLATania74 hahaha here's a fun fact about the great pro-corporation capitalist and non-government interference Ms. Rand-- she had no trouble sucking up all that "socialist" medicare and social security when she was sick from lung cancer.

  • Dude if i was that bitch after i caught my breath i would have killed her in her sleep. That mother fucker was crazy!!!

  • "NO, WIRE HANGERS"!!! "EVER"!

  • Faye Dunaway is unfortunately overracting the hell out of the movie and I do agree, a decent director would have reigned her in. When you're playing a character like this, there is an extremely fine line between horrific scenery devouring and fantastic portrayal of a crazy person (think about Kathie Bates in Misery, it would have been dangerously easy for her to go all NO WIRE HANGERS). The line "I am not one of your FANS!" is brilliantly done though, the actress delivered that line perfectly

  • @CinnabonChan But that's a matter of taste. A safe perfomance by Faye Dunaway would have been forgotten long before this, 30 years on. Scenery chewing or not, the role continues to hit a nerve with the public. I think she deserves credit for getting right the volatile combination of narcissistic ambition, fear of aging, and limitless alcohol.

  • @bscottb8 (laughs) Only because infamy last longer than fame, as Mike Wallace of "60 Minutes" once pointed out. For comparative purposes, Nicolas Cage's performance in "The Wicker Man" will--unfortunately for him--probably be remembered longer and by a lot more people than his many fine performances over the years! HOW DID IT GET BURNED?!!!

  • poor christina, i feel sorry for her. she must have suffered a lot

  • that blonde chick is soooooooooo ugly

  • I remember watching Mommie Dearest for the first time at HBO when I was 7 years old in 1982. Each time I watch it, I would get sad when Joan Crawford beats up Christina, like this scene right here.

  • This strikes me as an outtake, but apparently not...?

  • LOVE joan crawford!!

it's my opinion that Christina was just super jealous and ungrateful that she wasn't a big success like her glamorous mother, so she came up with this disgusting story. Joan's other daughter says none of this is true..

  • @gandhara6 EXACTLY!

  • @gandhara6

Sometimes the parents will have a 'favorite' child that they are just naturally drawn to. Unfortunatley the parent doesn't realize how horribly they treat their other children when this happens. I think this is probably the case with Joan and Christina. Don't just turn a blind eye on this because you found out that one of your favorite movie stars are not what their made out to be. Sometimes people are just turn out to be different than what you think and you need to accept that.

  • lovely scene

  • I wish that the scenes of abuse were'nt true but unfortunately their facts of life and joan crawford was one of my favorite actresses. Its terrible that you truly don't know what goes on behind closed doors in hollywood families.

  • @tearose00 This movie is bullshit, it's based on the book the daughter wrote once Joan died as a revenge for not having given her any inheritance. Christina Crawford was just jealous of Joan, she wanted to be Joan Crawford. She made all that up. What you see in this scene never happened. Why didn't she write that while Joan was alive? This movie is bad btw, totally over the top acting, pure camp. No wonder Faye Dunaway's career went downhill after this. Please do not consider this film accurate.

  • @frodo322 What, were you there? I just saw an hour show with Christina Crawford. She is intelligent and lays out exactly why she wrote the book.

  • @EuroTom1 No, I wasn't there, but just like Christina said all those awful things there are people who said she made it all up. Crawford's other daughter completely denied all those accusations, Myrna Loy, and many more also supported Joan. How pathetic anyway, your only claim to fame being the daughter of a famous person and writing a book about that person when she's dead and can't defend herself. It's sad after all these years her only cling to fame is that book and Joan Crawford. Get over it

  • @frodo322 There are very few people in this world who actually want to be another person. Anyway why didn't that mean bitch give her daughter her inheritance...because she was spiteful and mean just as she was correctly depicted in the movie!

  • I fucking hate this movie. I remember seeing it at a young age and asking my mom where this bitch lived so I could go beat the shit out of her.

  • I am am so horrified right now, I won't even post a comment about Christine's panties!

  • Two sides of every story... hope Christina wasn't abused as portrayed in this film...

    Irregardless,

All of the players in this movie did a sensational job...truly, spectacular.

  • I've never heard of this movie until today...this is.....TERRIBLE. What a nightmare...that goes against every healthy instinct a mother ought to have towards her daughter. POSSESSED much? Uh-uh....that ain't natural.

  • When the book came out my mother was worried and spoke to me about doing something simular. She felt guilty about something. doug

  • This isn't so funny for people who have dealt with things close to this... I'm an example.

  • Why couldn't Christina fight back when Joan was choking her?

  • @TigerzRlz because it's a movie you fool and that's how the scene was written. lol

  • @TigerzRlz Maybe deep down she was enjoying it.

  • poor Carol-Anne. Mommie knocked her a** out. such a twisted yet hilarious scene.

  • I feel like if this story played out today, Joan Crawford would end up in jail...

  • did anyone else hear Christina's head banging on the floor like 15 times?

  • very strange because on one note I could see how people would totally find this laughable yet its also very troubling if this indeed did happen. The acting is very over the top, YET very good at the same time. I think Faye got rave reviews yet seriously dissed equally as bad. This is EXACTLY how it prob. happened to poor Christina. Only until the past few years have I "gotten' why so many people and esp. gays find this hilarious- yet most of my life I found it very dark and difficult to watch.

  • my God, she sure needs to go into a mental institution!

  • those eyebrows lol

  • I love Joan Crawford the actress and the beauty. But I'm not going to sit here and act like she didn't have her fair of problems especially when it came being a mother. However this movie is fucking hilarious! I mean it the serious issues (child abuse and possible mental issue) and got turned into a laughable campy-overthetop-soapy cult classic. I understand Hollywood wants to go for the dramatics, but Faye sure screen screw mad scenery in this fucking movie.

  • I never found this movie funny at all even though it is a bit over the top. This things really happen in our society but behind the closed door.

  • @mod25151972 You're right. I find it disturbing as well. Anybody who is/was abused probably would have to turn it off.

  • "Respect" that I'm "entitled" to? Honey, you ain't "entitled" to anything, especially respect. You'd better check yourself before you wreck yourself. I don't care who you are or how old you, if you don't respect me, I sure as heck ain't gonna respect you back. That's all I gotta say about this.

  • this acting isssss the best shit ive ever seen

  • Hey ...there was a reporter there....I would,ve done the same thing...what;s a little strangulation between mother and daughter

  • Jesus, Mary, and Jo-Jo!!!!

  • What the fuck did I just watch?

  • Should have been Mommy get beat in this scene..

  • I like this Movie cuz in My opinion I think the Actors did a Good Job Acting. Its an Eye Opener to the Child Abuse.

Why didn't SOMEONE report Her Too Many People Covered Joans Butt !

  • Christina needed to learn basic Jiu-Jitsu mount escape.

  • Thats gonna be Shiloh in the next couple of years....Angelina Jolie is just like Joan Crawford the modern day Joan Crawford.....

  • what a bitch...

  • @rockergod789 She should have cut the bitch in her sleep!

  • i am strangely attracted to christina in this scene. and i'm not even gay.

  • I love this SO Much...Faye is such a great actress...As for Joan doing that...The little BITCH deserves it every step of the way.

  • LMAO @1:30 Joan totally elbowa the other woman to floor and the old lady backs up like, "Oooh shit!"

  • @ohleander LMBO!!!!!! you are soooo right!!!!

  • I think we had a breakthrough today.

  • what a cunt!

  • jesus christ, this can't be real! if it was, joan crawford should have been put in an asylum

  • @SugarKatie

Hard to say for sure if she was ever this extreme, but all accounts from back in the day are scary enough not to rule it out. These were the days before the paparazzi stalked them 24/7, so who knows what she might have gotten away with?

  • @SugarKatie This can´t be real? Come to my house for lunch on a sunday. Maybe you had good parents... not all are that lucky

  • @Nadesiko85 well i am sorry to hear if your parents are less-than-perfect. i am not saying I have perfect parents, they have flaws too of course (sometimes it does get on my nerves). i hope you can find a way to deal with them

  • @SugarKatie "Less-than-perfect" is a pretty selection of words. I was kind of thinking more like along the lines of abusive, crazy, etc, etc. And thank you, but I don´t need you to feel sorry for me. I was just stating that this is VERY possible and closing your eyes does n ´t help abused children.

  • Loling forever.

  • This is my favorite part in the whole movie.

  • choke the fucker mommmie!!
