I really liked the 3d gameplay in this game, but it didnt seem right to me.. didnt have the 'feel' of a actual megaman x or just megaman game.. It was still a good game thou, they tried 3d'ish effects in the game and it didnt turn out that well :P one thing i noticed is that the health bar changed, it wasnt really a megaman game at all but still alright.

I used to love this game, especially X's armor. An X-9 sounds cool, but man I must say the whole time you're getting hit by every enemy ,runnin through them like they're invisible, getting tossed every which way, and then you choose to throw a cool double jump at 4:10? That was random ha ha.

Lava Factory have the 3D part very good, and is more enjoyable fight with Flame Hyenard with D-Glaive... My rank up D to B.

I've never played X7, and I don't plan to, because have heard it was terrible, but don't just bash the concept for it, bash instead the way it was executed, which was the real problem, because done right, 2d or 3d, a boss fight can have the same rush as the classic megaman ones.

Uhm, you're mixing things a little. Command Mission never was and will be considered as X9. The next game in the X series should wield the 'Megaman X9' title, and I hope this one's going to be the best game upon all in the series.

I kinda liked this game, the 3d parts werent bad BUT!!

1: It has lots of bugs! fucking development team!

2: Is VERY short. Each level is so short i feel shame. The final mission is so short is an insult to the player. This level is the coolest cuz is kinda long... but not long enougth.

I think it was a nice experiment, try to change to 3D. It has LOTS of issues, but they should have keep tring in megaman x8 and not give up. Still havent playd 8 btw

If you just started playing the X series games, I recommend picking up the X collection or, better yet, if you're PC is SOMEWHAT decent, emulating the games. X1-X6 are, for the most part, better than X7-actually, yeah, they are a whole lot better than X7. Generally speaking, its a good series, although the consistency has not stayed as high as the classic series' games. But when its good, its VERY good.
