  • Holy Smokes, indeed! A database! That's all we need! Does she have any idea what she's saying? She thinks just saying "small business" every seven words and "database" every twelve makes her sound like she's got this all thought out.

  • Why is it that so many of these Republican women are just drop dead gorgeous on the outside, yet hideously ugly on the inside?

And as for "great White hope"... does anyone honestly think she would have used that phrase if Obama was White? Of course not.

  • @upstatenooyawkah You do exclude Jenkins in the "gorgeous" classification, right? If not, you may need a video card upgrade.

  • hey lynn, your foretathers are probably illegal aliens who killed native americans. mexicans are actually true red-indians. bitch!

  • Well said

  • great white dope.

  • She's going to defeat "Wrester Jaws" in November.

Down with socialist wimps who need everyone else to provide for them!

  • this woman freaked me out...she's like a small hyper dog.

  • That is exactly what I have been thinking for years haahaa.

It really is unfortunate she won the 2nd district... Religious fundamentalism and fear delivered her a seat in congress -- popular themes in Kansas politics.

  • No, that's what delivered Jim Ryun to Congress.

Jenkins is a divorcee and pro-choice. She never campaigned on religous fundamentalism. Jenkins is a traditional Republican and should hold her seat for as long as she wants.

  • I must respectfully disagree, my statement was not an indictment of Lynn Jenkins, it was directed at the electorate. Her campaign messages had little to do with this, every Christian fundamentalist I know in the second district voted for Lynn Jenkins on the basis of party affiliation alone. To dismiss the role this group plays in Kansas politics is silly.

  • I get your point then. Keep in mind not all Republicans, or even a majority of them, vote purely based on religous issues though.

I'm an agnostic, and a Republican, and I voted for Jenkins. I would not have voted for Ryun (and Boyda would have beaten Ryun).
