  • hmmm is one of the best jams...reading life...understand the song better now

  • Great lead from Mr Mick Taylor, doing it again and again

  • Back when they WERE "The World's Greatest Rock & Roll Band"!

  • When I grow up, I wanna be that shroom patch on Keef's jeans...

  • lol they're drunk

  • Absolutely, The Mick Taylor Era was the Best Rock & Roll. Period.

  • Who doesnt love the Stones man...They rock!

  • Poor Mick Taylor.... he was far too pretty to be a Rolling Stone.

  • This makes me very fuckin happy!

  • All I need is Keef to keep me HAPPY!!

  • KEITH IS HAPPY GETTING READY TO GO OUT ON TOUR WITH HIS BAND THE ROLLINGSTONES 2011/12 YER

  • go on keith!!!...

  • I need The Stones!!!! to keep me Happy!!!

  • Rhythm guitar at it's best.

  • Great that flick Keef keeps doin' to get the hair out his face...lol..I used to do that too !

  • ROCKS!!!!!!! thanks

  • Keith IS THE BEST!!!

  • Rips me up every time. The Stones were no joke.

  • exile my fave, matey, but too much 1940's negro blues club imitation...this woulda been even beetter with out the brass....but I can dig it--- mick an' keef grew up in the 1940's...me: the 60's.......I woulda cut the brass out and emphasized keef' s slide guitar work.....never good when white boys try to be too negro- esp. brit white boys

  • @ioriorioriorio

The Stones were inspired by "Negro blues" as you say. Who cares what race the Stones are? EVERYONE gets the blues. The only problem is not giving blues artists credit!

OK w/ you if "Negroes" listen to Bach? Ok if these "Negroes" get inspiration from Irish Folk music?

  • great two guys on one mic the old days were cooler. js

  • Keith is #10 on Rolling Stones list of 100 greatest guitar players. His 5 string open G riffs with fantastic tone got him there. Mick Taylor playing over those riffs was pure magic.

  • Sick.

  • i love how keith is a fucking mess but hes able to sing and play.... man this song suits him so much he got flesh on the phone

  • Man, the way Kieth strums those first couple of chords is so legendary!!

  • Mick Taylor........man he was perfect for them.

  • jesus i think i just busted a nut watching that. omg. i want to be that mic

  • Love = heroin. Listen the the lyrics. Great Mick Taylor solo and accompanyment, as usual. Ampegs sound great.

  • @grubbetuchus nah, pretty sure he aint talkin bout smack. keiths a family man. hes singin about human compassion and romance... i have no idea why you'd connect this song to diacetylmorphine, other than the cold fact that was keiths diesel. something tells me anita and marlon made him happier than a flood of dopamine.

  • @lysergicdeez He is a family man. And a God-fearing man. And a brilliant old soul.

  • it has absolutely nothing to do with smack , only richards was on this track. no other stones. jimmy miller, bobby keyes , bass , richards

"exile on main street" bill janovitz

  • @grubbetuchus

is that what theyre using here? ampegs?

    great post,.,.,.,.,.

  • Brill stuff ... takes me right back to me youf ... way ta go Keef

  • Great version. Best yearz of the stones was with Mick Taylor. Keith rocks on this and I love Mick on background vocals. I wonder if Linda Mcartney got her hairdo from Keith or Keith got the idea from Linda?

  • i love you k

  • The fuckin STONES in their prime!!! Can u believe they were selling tickets for this at like 15 20 dollars a ticket??? God bless both Micks and the stones for being able to be here listening to this now. Best Stones era ever with Mick Taylor!!!!!!!!!

  • INfuckinDEED! S▬O▬U▬L

  • Ez a szám mindörökké 5 csillag nálam!

  • I feel AWESOME as I listen to it !! its like in heaven y'know ! I am sure they're HAPPY while playing this song as I am now when I am listening to it !! :) <3 Long Live the Stones forever !! :* :*

  • The Stones at their best. 5 stars and two thumbs up

  • ok ok, i have to say this one was better then number 2 actually but they were both AMAZING!! great footage! and thanks RWeGhosts, i subscribed, hope to see some more good videos :)

  • SerenityTranquillityPeace

  • Keith still had his voice then and played like a man possessed! The Smack hadn't taken it's full toll yet. It did on the '75 tour though. He could barely stand but they NEVER cancelled and always put on a decent show on that tour anyway. Much better in'72

  • the best the ever were...and they were always very very good.

  • best perfomance ever ! <3

Keith ROCKSS ! I Need Keith To Keep Me Happy ;P

  • this song just makes me...happy!!!!!

  • temazoooo...feliz!!!!

  • mick tayl;ore!!!!!

  • jeeziz - one of the best live versions i've ever heard - smokin' hot - thank you rweghosts

  • Keith, i adore you...

  • This would be an out take from Ladies & Gentleman. still shot at Fort worth i am Guessing.

  • Fuck me running! Never seen this footage, and I'd thought I'd seen pretty everything from the 70s. This one's definately different because the idiot cameraman who did Ladies and Gentlemen was on Jagger for 95 percent of the time, but this one starts off correctly, showing Keith.

  • Fuck! What version is this from? It's not the "Ladies and Gentlemen" version. Yet, this concert does feature in LAG. I am intrigued.

  • Yeah oh Yeah I'm HAPPY with this one.

  • No band comes close to matching the Stones' mastery of the rock music art form, not close mind you

  • cant agree more

  • Tempo! Tempo!

  • where this footage come from?

  • I love Keef's voice!

  • my favorite stones era, mick taylor years were the best.....

  • Yep, I take my Stones with 2 Micks also.

  • @stringsrichie I agree!!! I think the period from 69-75 were the best years for the Stones. With the beginning of Black and Blue, the Stones were never the same.

  • @stringsrichie not even open for debate

  • true that

  • My boys just fucking rule!

  • Where did that clear boychoir voice go Keith...?? I love this song! Specially the live versions.

  • alcohol really fucks your voice up...it did the same to jim morrison

  • and morrison still sounded awsome

  • true, his stuff on morrison hotel sounds fucking cool...but had he been alive 5 more years his voice would have been gone completely

  • yea by about that time or shortly there after morrison became a full blown chain smoker and averaged 3 packs a day

  • I agree! My two favorite Doors albums are Morrison Hotel and L.A. Woman, the last two they did. A lot more low down-dirty bluesy. "Maggie M'Gill" from Morrison Hotel and "Been Down So Long" from L.A. Woman are two examples where the harsh-ish voice sounds awesome. Damn I love those albums!

  • I like the way they sing together same thing in Dead Flowers...Keith didnt sang in the microphone but in Jagger ears or something like that..hahaha

  • love the way mick helps him out on this...shows how much he kinda cares for him...not meaning to sound gay here lol

  • Wow! Thanks for this post. Just what i needed.
