I... I am so... I'm sorry, but I can't stand the boyband riffing.  I am so utterly tired of that singing style, especially in a song like this. I can't qualify it as modernizing the song as much as disturbing it. Cheez Whiz all over the place.

To add to my previous comment...this was obviously a tribute concert where they picked 4 NEW seasons and brought Frankie back for a guest appearance. Its amazing how hateful people are on this site when the music is here for your enjoyment. IF you don't want to enjoy the song then don't freaking listen to it. You don't have anything nice to say? Keep it to yourself. Valhalla thank you very much for posting this video so this wonderful music can be shared and enjoyed.

Omg...ya'll dumb. The SONG is CALLED December 63' Oh what a night. This video was not done in 63...obviously. And the title didn't even make me think it was...made me think...oh their singing the song. AND obviously these arn't the orgional 4 seasons apart from the GUEST appearance of Frankie Valli. The origonals retired, and were placed in the rock and roll hall of fame. Valli toured for a short time with new members remaning the group Frankie Vallie AND the four seaons. So stop judging!!

It is quite impossible for this video to have been made in 1963. a) there was no colour TV, b)Frank Valli looks about 50 and c) radio mics of the type used in this recording simply did not exist. A completely false post and extremely misleading. How could you possibly be so wrong?! Oh, and they are not the four seasons!!

@jimmymeager Jimmy, the post is not referring to the date this video was made. The name of the song is December '63 (Oh What a Night) Also, color TV was available in 1963, but only on a limited basis.

Heard this on the radio earlier... and forgot how much I loved this song. I especially love this LIVE version. LOVE LOVE LIVE MUSIC. My special needs daughter that has CP, Epilepsy, Autism, has recently fell for you tube,always searching for videos that she likes this one she FELL FOR. Laughing, clapping, smiling. She is non verbal and is paralyzed on her left side and to see her loving this just as much as me was AMAZINGGGGGG!!!You guys and Frankie ROCK!!! Sooooo grateful I found this version

Unfortunately, the guys singing lead are nothing like the drummer who sung the original: Gerry Polci. Frankie Valli did sing the bridge, and is here for that, so at least it is somewhat legit. Oh well...watered-down Four Seasons is better than none. At least Frankie Valli is still there. Maybe someone can get Gerry Polci out of retirement...
