  • billy sheehan doing a john entwhistle bass line, i think i just shat my pants

  • They played this at Hellfest the other day. Didn't even know they did a cover of it

  • It's pretty hard to believe Mr. Big has been around for 23 years and counting because it seems like yesterday when I picked up their debut album...on cassette. I'm glad the original lineup is back together again.

  • Billy Sheehan pulled of the Entwistle Bit pretty well!

    :D

    \Respect/

Entwistle has attianed Godly status! Shehaan is on his way there ;)

  • What an amazing interpretation of the song!

Definitely not an easy song to sing. Daltrey's vocals (were) the best in the world during the 70's.

  • i lobe eric martin voice and paul gilbert solos

  • I would say this is 8/10. the version they did in San francisco was 10+/10. Amazing band.

  • Why does it not surprise me that Paul Gilbert is like, "synth intro, fuck I can play that on the guitar"

  • Great cover! I was 15 seconds into the video and favorited it!!!

  • Somebody said.. There's no demand for Mr. Big in North America.. So what?! People there are drooling over talentless people anyway like Justin and Jonas yuck!

  • @08ciana

I emailed Eric a while back and I asked him about a North America tour. I'm stuck in the middle of the states so It would be amazing if they ever made their way to Chicago. Well he replied back saying they're planning on doing on soon but trying to find the right band to tour with. So, there must be a big enough following in the states but nothing compared to that of Europe and Asia. O-well, another reason why I wanna move over seas.

  • @Guitarmattms2010 Really?! I'm so happy to hear that. Great artist will never run out of followers.. That's really good news =)..

  • @08ciana Yep, I also get updates from the band on facebook and they hinted that a us tour is in the works right now. Personally If they have piggyback with another band I vote for Whitesnake! That would be an epic concert.

O, however I get to see PG in Chicago for his yellow matter custard show.

  • This is very good cover, but you cant beat the original version!

  • Paul Gilbert is my Guitar God

  • Wow, what a fucktard.

  • please tel me the reunion tour is coming to the us

  • i've never luled so hardcare

  • i hate how they cut out the outtro, makes me feel emty somehow lol

  • i got tickets for the 15th of sept, w00t

  • Not a fan of this cover. Sammy Hagar did pretty good, and I love Mr. Big, but I'm just not diggin this.

  • I don't think that is Sammy Hagar. I think that's Eric Martin....Not positive though.

  • I know its not Sammy Hagar, Its Eric Martin. But I like Sammy Hagars cover more

  • it's eric...lol

  • @JaniLanesAlcohol thats actually kinda hard to play on the guitar. i mean the synth part. you have to pick really fast across three strings.

  • dang how on earth do you transpose piano and keyboard parts into guitar and bass?

  • right hand is guitar, left hand is bass. Not that difficult.

  • paul gilbert can do anything hahah

  • SICK GUITAR!!

  • years later, Paul Gilbert flipped his Iceman around to become the Fireman.

  • yes sir indeedy

  • is that what he calls it?

i just thought it was the "reverse Iceman".

i dont know if you went to namm, but they had one, and 'twas quite the spectacle. its costed 10,000$

  • Those vocal harmonies on the "don't cry" part are freakin' awesome.

  • i like this version better

  • ok so it is a cover from the Who, wanted to make sure i wasnt the only one who thought so

  • nice cover , its from the WHO

  • Who does it?

  • you search "WHO baba o riley" they are the original artist way back 1975 if im not wrong.

  • The who

  • The what?

  • The where?

  • 1971

  • Oh my god, does Gilbert make a small mistake at the very beginning? I may be wrong, but if not it's the first I've ever heard.

  • Eric was Big long before Mr. big...and He still is....rock On Eric!

  • God!!, what concert is this from???

  • Hey man tour live in Budokan Japan 1996

  • Thankyou soooooo so so so very much!!
