check out sykesmasks.co.uk for some sick army of two masks. both me and my dad use them when we go airsofting and i find they are better than anything else i have used previously (included viper goggles, and comfort mask, or my ESS ice ballistic glasses(which are pretty awesome still)).

how is the vision? is it hard to see compared to a normal paintball mask, or is it better?

@sgff1 kind of weird at first but you get use to it in my opinion depending on with paintball mask you use that mask has better field of vision

@Jakelton117 Everyone thinks this but basics physics says that a grand majority of the time IF there are any fragments (which is possible but unlikely) they will bounce back out in a cone pattern. Now there are plenty of variables involved that make it possible, however unlikely, that your eye will get struck, just as it is possible, but unlikely, for goggles made to take a certain impact to break under their specifications...

well this mask is of high impact abs plastic and the cactus hobby version is reinforced fiberglass resin but i say go with what you can afford

I got a quick question. I know for a fact that on the cactus hobbies AO2 masks, the way they are molded, you cant really aim down your iron sights. The question is, is it possible to aim down your sights, or even a low profile reflex sight, with THIS mask?

well if your sights set up high enough yes something like the l85a1 iron sight's would work just fine but something like a reflex sight depending upon the aeg i would put it on a raiser mount just to give it better eye to sight relief

My friend is doing his own army of 2 mask and he shot it 400FPS when the barrel was on about 5-15cm away from the mask.  And im doing own mask too, but the mask will be a clown. :D

I've had my mask about a month now, and I can say from my experience that it is very durable. I have a little trouble breathing in it, as the holes are a little small, but thats an easy fix. Just open them up a bit.

The other issue I have with it is the cheap paint that comes on it. It starts to rub off after only about 5-6 times of taking it on or off, so around the neckline and mouth, the paint is gone. However, just repaint it, and its fine.

Overall, GREAT buy for the money.

you could paint flames on it but it would take some time and good steady hand as well and to get it looking professional unless you really know you are doing it could be a real pain in the neck

great review..and i agree its a rare occasion that u get shot in the eyes..nobodies is going to try to aim for your eyes.. u usualy play wit ur freinds..they wont shoot at ur eyes unless there tryin 2 hurt u..and if they are u need new friends lol

the cactus hobbies ones are the original made ones, everything else like on ebaybanned and on ehobbyasia are clones.. which is bad, the mesh on yours was dented a bit with under 400 fps. hopefully you dont get any chips in your eye, i got a new version of the mask cactushobbies made and its real breathable, and has enough room for those ballistic sunglasses people use for airsoft.

Dang that mask holds up pretty well.

(FYI NO mesh is safe, most BB's will break on impact and having shards of bb's in your eyes is just as bad as getting hit by a bb in the eye)
