I have a question for you (and it's probably like beating a dead horse). I'm looking at getting a Kawi Ninja. I'm 6'5" 170lbs and turning 18 soon. I live in a very mountainous area in PA, and I love the Ninjas but I don't know if the 250 has enough power or if it's too small for me. If so, is the 650r too powerful? Thanks in advance
@xXUSMCGRIFFXx well I have a ninja 250 myself (2006 version) and it gets me around nicely (i love on a mountain so most my my trips are up and down hills) I am 140lbs and 5'9"...so i would suggest something bigger than 250 but 650 or less. when i stop i can put both feet flat on the ground. For you it would feel like its alittle short or small. best thing i would suggest is find a moto dealer and talk to them and maybe sit on one to see how it feels. Hope that helps.
@XboxPhantom As of now, the problem is trying them out for fit. If a 17 year old were to walk into the dealership and sit on all of their bikes I'm not too sure they would be too happy. The height problem was the main thing I was worried about. My one buddy let me sit on his mountain bike once (he's 5'9") I put the seat all the way up and my knees were still bent when flat on the ground (for proper riding your toes should just barely touch). Thanks for sorting that out!
So what did you buy? lol
