That's wild, it sounds like an authentic bird. I figured it might have been a bird/animal only found in Japan/Asia and J-related artist/games used it for Easter Egging. Guilt Gear is heavily based on elec guitar music and themes, so that's why the whistling was found in that game too. Only problem is I can't find any vid or sound file for proof. And all I own is a bass and amp XD, thx for the info tho.

Yeah I've heard of Dir en grey being described as the Japanese Marilyn Manson, but I think these guys fit the bill a little better. Though I love Manson and VK Manson doesn't compare when it comes to the instrumentals or the vocal talent, but the imagery and such are very similar.

I'm sorry but I don't think that the style of VK was inspired by Manson.cuz -Visual Kei emerged in the late 1980's (however, evidence of presence in even the early 70's should be noted,) pioneered by bands such as Boøwy, X Japan, D'erlanger, Buck-Tick, and Color -Wiki-

so they were actually inspired by 70's glam and hard rock such as David Bowie,Japan(english band) ,KISS or so on...but not all jrocker was, cuz VK is only a part of Jrock...Manson may be one of....but yeah ;)
