just wondering, is there a hidden boss at hallow bastion, I always thought there was when you enter the room full of gates and there was one spot that I couldn't get past.

@smileyboy2021 In the Final Mix version of Kingdom Hearts, yes. In the room where you fight dragon Maleficent you'll find Xemnas (although since this was before KH2 was released he was known as the mysterious figure, but if you see his attacks you'll notice they match Xemnas' attacks in KH2).
