  • Thank you I may may them for family Christmas

  • redid it and used 20 instead of 16, and did only 12 rows. made perfect size for my Galaxy S 4G!

  • got the beginning thing no prob. Just watched video closely. MY problem is that the case isn't long enough for my new Galaxy S 4G. Would need to increase at beginning to more than 15 hdc's more like 18 hdc's. Great project!

  • idiotic!

  • I can't find where the pattern is so I can print it. thanks

  • hi teresa, how do i start with the chain and then single crochet??could you pls explain how many single chain first and then half double crochet..if i am correct, start with a chain of 16 , then do a single crochet through out those 16 single chains??kindly correct me if i am wrong??

  • @ilajnareiraw no start with chain of 18 likes she says on the video!

  • thanks i made a one with 2 strands with a g hook and it worked perfectly thanks soo much i use it for my phone now

  • i know how to crochet those

  • Will you sell me one?

  • i've tried to get the foundation 3 times and i just can't get it!! im a beginner so i dint know half the things your talking about

  • @thegirlygirl4112 You can start with a chain instead if you prefer. Then work single crochet. You may want to start with an easier project if you find this one to difficult.

  • wats a foundation?!

  • i cant do the foundation thing :(

  • You can work a chain instead.

  • Thank you Teresa, I just made this for my ipod. It took a few tries to get the loops rights. I'm going to try making the cupcakes next:)

  • You are welcome.

  • I made one for my daughter and used 3 different weights and textured yarn and it looks great! It came out soft and thick to pad her Ipod! Thanks to TJW her tutorials are always clear, concise and so patient.

  • 16?! Dang! u R fast....i only got 3 when the video got 2 16...guess im just slow haha.

  • I would like to suggest the pause and rewind. It is not necessary for you to keep up with the video.

  • u r fast!

  • I think this ipod sock would also be great for a cell phone. I am going to make one for my phone and crochet a strap for it.

  • I am going to crochet this ipod sock for my brother as a thank you gift for helping me move yesterday.

Thanks for sharing this awesome quick pattern.

  • i wanna make a pouch for my sist mp4, the width is 5.3 cm, and the thickness is 0.8 cm, i dont want to make it too tight or too loose, so, how many chain do i need to start making the pouch?, i got only 5 hook , from 3 to 7, thanks

  • It all depends on the yarn, crochet hook and your crochet style. I could tell you a random number and it will probably be wrong. I would suggest that you crochet a vertical length of chain for the height. You can measure around periodically to see when to stop for the best custom fit.

  • hi teresa...

am so happy.. i just completed a blue one for my hubby.. thankyou for ur wonderful pouch..

  • You are welcome. :)

  • i was wondering if i want to make a hat , how do i start in the beginning?

  • If you click on my main channel page, I have several hat video tutorials.

  • looks as if you could make the same thing for an iphone :D

  • Yes you can. My Flipcam will fit in the pouch to so there are a lot of electronics devices that will work with the pouch.

  • thanks for posting this up i've been wanting to make this for a while and now i can!!!!!! =) have you posted the basics like how to make a slip knot etc i used to crochet but stopped for a while and dont remember the basics... so anyways thanks!!!!!!!!

  • ohhhhh never mind i found the basics that you posted up... THANK YOU!!!!

  • You are welcome. :)

  • i made me one and i like how it came out thanks for the tutorial

  • Thank you.

  • This is showing how to do the Ipod sock. There are parts of slow motion so you can see how the stitch is being done. I do have another video tutorial on how to do the foundation single crochet. Written instructions are posted on my crochet blog.

  • you are really great..

  • Thank you. :)

  • this is really cute! I'm going to make one.

  • Thank you. :)

  • do i make it longer by just making the chain longer?

  • Yes, that is how you make it longer. Keeping in mind that at the end, the horizontal pattern stitch is flipped 90° to become vertical. When you are finished, one of your sides will become the bottom and the other side is the top opening. To make it wider, you just keep adding rows.

  • is this an ipod nano pouch. Maybe I missed it?

  • Ipod classic is the size. It can very easily be modified to a shorter size and less rows.

  • What type of needle do you used to sew the sides together

  • It is a tapestry needle. I believe it is size 10 or somewhere close to that size.

  • wow .. Thanks Alot dear

  • You are welcome. :)

  • You know if you make this a little bigger it would be a neat bottle coozy. Hehe!! Happy New year

  • Yes, you can make the rows longer and more of them.

  • i was wondering.. can i make a hat with this pattern? if so, how can i start?

  • I would love to see your hat when you are finished.

  • Wow! thank you so much, i was thinking of buying this but now i can make it for myself.. only mine is a ipod shuffle, little one so it takes me less time to make it.. thanks! have a great new year!
