A limited government would uphold the rights of those being oppressed (assuming they are within jurisdiction). Just because you're rich or whatever doesn't mean you have the right to infringe upon someone else's constitutional rights. Of course they could hire blackwater etc for their own security, but that doesn't give anyone the right to kill or go around policing ppl etc. Besides most of these corporations are only rich because the Gov subsidizes them.
He is, I can assure you. In fact, Ron Paul is a freak in politics: the closer you look at him, his background, and his message, the more you will like him.
At first I doubted Ron Paul, learned a lot about him, his voting record, listened to his speeches, etc. then fell in love with him. When he was running for president I tried to tell everyone about him...but we all know how that turned out.
I question him again because as I delve deeper into politics, I've come across secret societies and their various symbols and handshakes etc. and Ron Paul has been videotaped doing some of these, so I suspected he might be controlled opposition. nahhhh but ?
I've seen those accusations, and considered it, but have concluded there's nothing to it. Judge him by his actions, which are 30 years of public works OPPOSING the very things that those NWO bodies are working towards. I think Dr Paul's more on our side than you think. He just can't come out openly about those things. Look at what happened to Larry McDonald in 1981. He was a good friend of Dr Paul's. That would have shaped his political strategy.
Sounds like a conspiracy theory in the brewing. Handshakes don't mean anybody. Anybody can go up to Paul, shake his hand, and get a photo of themselves doing so.
Take a look at this, starts off kind of slow, but it all comes into focus in the end, it's short anyway. It will question your partisanship to Ron Paul. I've ultimately returned back to believing in Ron Paul, and if not, I still believe he is doing us a service spreading the message of Liberty and teaching the youth...Unless all of this is just a distraction from the true liberation.

Anyway, my comment: It's just a common hand gesture. The overwhelming majority of people don't place much significance on it, and perhaps don't know what it's supposed to mean. I probably flash that gesture around too sometimes. I doubt these people if they were really a part of a secret society would want to use secret gestures publicly.
I've always been on the freedom train, I just questioned whether others on it were for promoting it, or sabotaging it, or just merely going for a ride...or whether I'm actually on the train I think I'm on. I hope it's not heading towards a FEMA camp, that's for damn sure.

I remember about two years ago when I saw a video with a guy wearing a "Dr. Paul cured my apathy" t-shirt, and I felt exactly the same way. Over the years politicians have become so vague and generic that finally hearing a politician making sense and telling the truth, was so refreshing. Come on America, Ron Paul 2012! I would move there in a second if he was President. That's not necessarily a great motivation to elect him, but whatever :)

I wish he was 20 years younger so he would have more time for everyone else to wake up. Makes me sad that people think Obama was the one for change, when the only one standing for REAL change was Dr. Paul.
Maybe the loans were given by a questionable central banking system, but hasn't also the free markets proven themselves immensly incompetent to deal with their freedom? You do not seem to get it, after this crisis, I believe there will be a renaissance for socialism, not liberalism. look how the message of individual freedom, liberty and responsibility are so widely accepted around the world. This is why we can't stop the movement - it's now global as every human really loves freedom. It's in our very nature to want to be free individuals to run and govern our own lives.
I was a US libertarian for about 10 years. I even donated a few hundred bucks to RP in the Presidential Primaries '08.
Ron Paul's campaign lead me to find, and after much learning, come to align myself more with voluntaryism and free market anarchism. In all honesty, I thank Ron Paul for that.

I remember about two years ago when I saw a video with a guy wearing a "Dr. Paul cured my apathy" t-shirt, and I felt exactly the same way. Over the years politicians have become so vague and generic that finally hearing a politician making sense and telling the truth, was so refreshing. Come on America, Ron Paul 2012! I would move there in a second if he was President. That's not necessarily a great motivation to elect him, but whatever :)

Thanks for asking the questions from a global perspective. Dr Paul have a pretty large following around the world. If his message got even more exposed I think many, many people would agree and support liberty (how could you not?).

Great Interview Hans! I have been following Ron Paul since Febuary 2008 and he is by far the the most influencial politician I've ever listened to. Obama is nothing! Nothing! Ron Paul all the way!

Well, to be fair, Somerled1, a Black US President is a very healing balm for the wrongs done to Blacks.
Believe it or not, many Blacks look away instead of making eye contact. This is sad and hopefully they will find - they can stand looking at me now.

I think the 'light of freedom' remains out-of-sight because of intense brainwashing. (They are hypnotized to be blind.)
There's this old book, "Who Will Tell the People," by Bill Greider - 1992 - which explains how it is done. I'm thinking of doing a video on it.

lastnymleft, I got it from the library and in the inside jacket it says at the end of 2nd paragraph:
"He (Greider) shows us today's Capitol Hill, where a lone congressman who tries to represent the public interest can find himself aligned against an army of well-paid "authorities." The public's belief that government serves "a few big interests" is not mistaken. Greider explains exactly how this has come to pass."

Oh, yes elbuggo. I am most certain the US Board of Education is a large "stupid stick" used to beat us into submission; has nothing whatsoever to do with truth.
As information is the currency of democracy - the fiscal crisis has lagged far behind the bankruptcy of freedom. Have you heard of the book, "Lies my Teacher Told Me," I suggest this to people (esp. teachers) who say I am crazy...
Hopefully this latest disaster will shatter many illusions and the light of truth will finally dawn.

Maybe the loans were given by a questionable central banking system, but hasn't also the free markets proven themselves immensly incompetent to deal with their freedom? You do not seem to get it, after this crisis, I believe there will be a renaissance for socialism, not liberalism. Liberarlism will be judged together with capitalism and "bankism" as the cause for this economic crisis.

I was a US libertarian for about 10 years. I even donated a few hundred bucks to RP in the Presidential Primaries '08.
Ron Paul's campaign lead me to find, and after much learning, come to align myself more with voluntaryism and free market anarchism. In all honesty, I thank Ron Paul for that.
