  • Although i have two juicing books, I havent used them for the recipes, but rather create using my own tastes. Believe me, I have had some YUCKY tasting juice, but thats how you figure it out. Romaine and Spinach are the best tasting greens and go with almost anything. Although I am on a grapefruit & parsley kick right now. I just have to learn to like cilantro and add it to something.....

  • Brate, I juice in the morning and take it with me. I dont want to be starving and without raw juice/food. Simply add ice to it and keep in a small insulated cooler. Take all the juices AND water you will need while you are gone. NEVER be away without your own foods!!

  • Hey sis! This is a GREAT vid, I want to do a few days with a juice feast like you are doing. I currently do a juice feast for the entire day every 10 days of my raw food and fitness journey but would love to do about 3 days at a time. I will definitely be using some of your recipes for juicing. Thanks again!!

  • Good luck sis. I go totally by taste, making just a little and tasting as I juice adding other things to make it palatable to my tastes. Todays new juice is 1 head romaine, 1/2 c blueberries and 1 apple. I am getting braver adding more greens!

  • Your welcome Losing. I do have several juicing books, however I mostly go by taste and knowing I need to include greens and veggies as much as possible. I drink a juice about every 2-3 hours or when I am hungry and the amount varies from 10 - 20 oz depending on what I am juicing. I also have hot herb teas and alot of water (we have a well and its good tasting cold water).

  • Thanks Obi. I have cilantro in the fridge and keep going to use it, but I am not fond of the taste. Do you have a good tasting juice recipe for using it? As I do know I really need to be including it for metal detox.
