Does any one think that the British government at this late stage would admit they were wrong, that they accused, convicted and sent to jail an innocent woman based on the witchcraft act of the 18th century?
@badpsychicstv you are entitled to your opinion. Although I read you gathered your opinion on material based on the evidence that was left DELIBERATELY to tarnish her. I am a great granddaughter of Helen's. I know the personal trauma my family suffered at the loss of our matriarch at that time & how the evil of this tragedy affected my family & our history for almost 2 generations If it wasn't for this woman, creating my Grandma, my dad & the name I have that is hers, I wouldn't be me. She was convicted under the Witchcraft Act so that way they could get a conviction. I have read the trial transcripts. Have you? You are basing your comments on such a small piece of things. She used to swallow the cheesecloth tight packed, and then regurgitate it during the seance. The loud music and singing would hide the noise of her removing the restraints and performing the act.
