I would have though the place to lay your tributes would be at the feet of Mr Richard Thompson, the man who walked the road, felt the pain and then wrote the song. Ms Raitt may have paid her dues too and can make a song like this her own, but without Mr Thompson she'd have a few less songs in her repetoire.
