  • I always feel nervous for the dog. I know he's way behind the stove, but I can't help thinking he's gonna catch fire or jump into a boiling pot or something.

  • Sliced pork? BACON, ITS CALLED BACON...

  • @MohoBiechiz bacon is cured and smoked pork belly, these are raw thin slices of pork belly, get it?

  • @MohoBiechiz

No, it's NOT called "bacon". It's called "pork belly". "Bacon" is smoked and cured pork belly (or fatback.) There is a difference (the brining and smoked part, hello?) You would know this if grew up on a farm, come from the South, or know anything about food. "Sliced pork", though,is just any raw meat from a hog sliced up thinly.

Bacon is from the West and was not common in Japan before WWII - it would ruin the taste and doesn't belong in oden.

  • the chef is professional and easy to understand, not to mention great knife skills when she peeled off the skin from the daikon! amazing! :-)

  • what is the secret to get the eggs like that? mines gets hard completely, but tyours are hard of the white part and so soft of the yellow part.

  • @Marisolpink it's all bout timing...put in the eggs only after the water is boiling for 2 min..add in some salt.then soak the egg in ice cold water before putting it back again in hot water...results depends on eggs grades...hope this helps..it works for me..

  • @twistedhand86 OMG!! so easy!! yeah, my mistake is that I put the eggs at the same time I put the water in the stuff, so when the water starts to boil the eggs are already too hards enough. Well, thankyou so much twistedhand86, I apreciate too much your help, and as you say, even if the secret is just the time is also a big secret that I use to ignore. Have a nice day!! A great day!!!

  • I love the kitchen, and the dog, and this absolutely fabulous woman!!! I really don´t know many of the ingredients, cause here in Mexico do not sell them, but I just dont care, I love seeing her cooking!

  • Japan makes some delicious food. My mouth was watering during this. xD

  • Well done I like the way you did your video. I wish I could've tried this when I was in japan.

    ありがとうございます!!!

  • AAvenger, I can find it all at Asian Store in a small city in U.S. where I live. U can try it if you live in such a place by taking the list of ingredients to Asian store. They will help u.

  • im going to try this :D

i might fail and my friends here are going to say i suck cuz when i go over they make it better TT 3 TT god darn my American ways xD

  • That dog is pro! Why can't my dog Japanese cook for me?

  • the dog talk in english awsome

  • Man I wanna try cooking this at home, but sadly Idk where to buy some of these ingredients living in the US T_T Why is it that we could find MC Donald like half a mile away from our house and not organic fresh food markets?!

  • @yyushi I live in Canada and we have China town and chinese markets. Even Germany had a chinese market. Maybe you should look farther (then again, I've never been to the US)

  • @yyushi all these ingredients are actually available in the u.s. :D there all in the asian part of any regular market. if not all then they will be in an asian market which is not that unusual to find i think :)

  • @yyushi : I agree. They should have more stores and markets that carry these ingredients! It would be delicious!

  • @yyushi If you live in a big city, or close to a big city, most likely they have a japanese market. ^_^

  • @yyushi It's all about supply and demand. Since most Americans crave for Mcdonalds, and since American ingredients that are used to make the food at Mcdonalds are a surplus in America, these organic fresh foods that some of us desire are rarely sold in local supermarkets.

  • @L2PlayRunescape And when we CAN Find these wonderful organic fresh produce.. they cost an arm and a leg.. .>.<

  • @yyushi Because by walking too far, we might actually lose the weight!

  • @yyushi If you live in a rural area out in the middle of no where, you will be hard pressed to find these ingredients. However, if you are not too far from a large city, or a place with a large asian population, google around for asian supermarkets. They have all of these ingredients and then some! You can also google 'korean market' to find some of the meats they use in these videos...Most pre-sliced!

  • @yyushi you could buy online

  • @yyushi Go to any supermarket you find these ingredients

  • @minhvuvn i cant find any of these in my supermarket

  • @yaoifangirl2009 You can find most of the fresh things in any supermarket I ever visited. Well expept the veggy, they seem to only have cabbage, spinach and kale in American supermarket. For the spices, go to a Chinatown and you will find anything you need.

  • @minhvuvn i dont have a chinatown near me. :/

  • Comment removed

  • @yyushi go to 'farmers markets' for fresh veggies and the nearest oriental store near you for ingredients like fish sauce, sarachi, bonito flakes, different types of soy sauce, tofu, the different noodle types ect..

  • @yyushi Look for a Marukai in your area, if there isn't one you can order the stuff from the website. :3

  • @yyushi go to asian market in your city.

  • I wish all this only took 4:28 :/

  • wow....dog is good at english.. he must study so hard.....

  • why cant i be japanese!!!!!! no fair, no fair!!!!!!
