My 55 gallon saltwater fish tank

cool, i have a emperor angel, a blue tang, 2 clowns, a foxface, a hawk fish, a yellow tang, 2 false moorish idols, and a bamboo shark in my 75

People tend to go by manuals and the fish/inch formula waaaay too much when it comes to saltwater tanks. This tank and many others on here are evidence that you CAN have all these fish together. Yes, when the tangs and angels get to be a foot long, they will need to be moved, but it takes several years for them to get that big. In the mean time, you can have all these beautiful creatures together. Love the tank!

I was wondering how long you have had this tank with these fish in it? I am just setting mine up and you seem to have my taste. I wanted to get a juvi emperor angelfish, a yellow tang and some others. PetCo's website says that an emporer needs 55gal..Perfect! But, every other site and person I have talked to says that is suicide and they need 100+ gal. I ended up getting a Flame Dwarf Angel to play it safe, but man, I really wanted an Emporer! Your's looks really nice!
