  • @WolfCreekCity What do you do then? "good boy! Oh good job I. Refusing, that was such a beautiful refusal. We'll get a jump next time!"

  • Your whip isn't to harm or punish your horse. -.- It's a help for your legs/stirups. :)

  • It pisses me off when that one rider was pushing her horse to keep moving after it clearly needed to slow down. After the horse refused, he was still fidgety, but the rider kept wacking the poor thing with her crop -.-

  • The reason why they are refusing is because they are pushing there horses to fast and throwing them and there horses of balance. Shame on you for riding.

  • @keithurbangirl1 the first part of our comment made sense but the second... not so much

  • Idk why they feel the need to punish the horse or refusing. None of these horses were playing dirty, the majority of them went to the jump with every intention of jumping it; but somewhere along the line they weren't set up for it right and had to stop. That's a failure of the rider, but in some cases just an accident. Just retry, don't beat the horse :/

  • Thumbs up if you agree the horse at 0:33 looks smooth!

  • These aren't good rider just horrible people! You do NOT whip a horse for refusing!!

  • @WolfCreekCity actually they're AMAZING riders and sometimes you have to. it also depends on the horse and situation!

  • @WolfCreekCity Oh no , my dear , what a unrealistic opinion ! Horses which are able to jump but refuse or are unwilling just need the encouragement by the whip ! My horse gets in this case immediately a lash and after that he is jumping the parcours whithout any problem . Horses shouldn't be pampered but always have to know that the rider is the boss !

  • @wohafu You get longer with praising than with hitting.

  • @WolfCreekCity Both (!) is important and may be right from case to case .

  • @WolfCreekCity Not necessarily, if my horse refused and I praised him he would never jump... Horses are tough, a tap with the whip isn't going to make them break down.

  • @tillynbella I am sure a tap is ok but these people are beating their horses. There is a difference.

  • @WolfCreekCity Yes, some of these people are definitely overdoing it, but a lot aren't that bad.

  • @WolfCreekCity

    i agree

  • @WolfCreekCity If the horse stops you should let them know that was wrong. If my horse just stopped like that I'd smack him too! Don't be too quick to judge

  • In some off these clips you just want to go up to the rider and hit them with the whip and see how they feel.

  • Good dismount at 0:50 ;) :L

  • Great video :). Pooooor horse at 1:12.
