the worst os ever was windows ME. windows vista is fine. if you have NEW hardware it will run even better than xp.

new hardware runs better for vista. new hardware have drivers optmized for vista.

and finally, i never said vista was better than windows 7 AND i was NOT comparing vista and me.

i was using xindows xp a few months ago and playing gta iv. my hard disk crashed then i installed vista. i got an 5~7 fps increase on gta iv using vista, believe it or not. its not a huge increase, but proves my point. and thats only one exemple. my system is running better overall using vista.

Only Microsoft could take take a perfectly good device and make it take over a minute & a half to turn on. This is good for the novelty but its pretty clear that Vista isn't suited for the EEE or an other computer for that matter.

Some have 8, and vista basic takes up 8, and the newer EEEpc's have a 16gb hdd which will just narrowly squeeze premium or ultimate on.
