these guys are an amazing band and yes they were really tired they play 5 shows back to back with like 6 hours of sleep. and they do it for us so fuck every1 whos says they suck

I live in veracruz and the day before the show there was a flood in half of the city...SAturday and the were evacuating people left and right the whole downtown area had no electricity and i was at the bus terminal from 2 pm to 1 am when they finally told i was going to get a ticket. A friend of mine lives behind the ADO so i was having beers with him xD and then finally on my way to Mexico City...and i just can't get over that show.

his voice is so low it is insane...something that everybody needs to remember as well is that Benji sang the chorus in the non live song...so of course it will sound different...and i have those days where i cannot hit certain notes and than the next day i can...so GOOD JOB!!! I thought it sounded really good

Jyrki sounds just really tired ! I'm a singer too and when you're tired or a little ill IT's really FUCKING hard to get the high pitch, it's like your voice just won't do it!

This is FEARLESS, which means limited fx for guitar and vocals. Jyrki usually uses a slight auto tuner and has a deep voice so he's trying to compensate by using a little higher than normal registar. Most bands sound like shit on fearless so the fact the 69 eyes did this good is amazing.

I love the 69 eyes, but yeah the guitar tone is brutal and the vocals are WAY off. Sounds to me like he might have laryngitis. Definitely suffering from tired/strained vocal chords. Don't forget, sometimes these bands play back to back to back shows, plus travel, partying ... all that can have a really negative effect on a singers' voice.

@timhaas1 i ve seen them 2 days ago on a much bigger stage and trust me they really got the fans sweaty the singer was jumping around like some kind of ape on drugs and the 2 guitar players were running like they d got a pain in the ass and had to shake it off really have to agree here they re not agile at all but on a bigger stage they really do rock plus here the sound s fucked up in reality it s way better
