@attic2basement I think this is a huge generalization and not true in the least. Hip-hop can be up tempo or down tempo and realy can bring out many emotions just depending on the song. Theres so many factors that affect what a song would attract, the lyrics, the vocalist, the beat just many factors that in the end creat the mood of the song, and downtempo does always relate to drugs. I know downtempo music that dosnt relate to drugs at all. A sunset is chill but it isnt a "weed view"
