That's hardly what I would call an infringement on your free expression. It's "their" channel, so they can do what they wish. Google on the other hand has grown to be a too integral part of modern society to be taken as lightly.
Off course it is not an infringement of my right to express my self. But you have to agree it is quite ironic that we cannot freely express ourselves on a channel dedicated to the idea, right?
Actually when Google provides a forum for us to add our videos it becomes ours. What would you tube be without our videos? They are even willing to extend a contact to(be it one sided) We make you tube money. You tube now has the ability to change who becomes president like it did recently. To say we who have made You Tube what it is have no say in it a big cop out. Also you tube labels something "My or you channel" this is an oral contract as being mine. Hence the name "YOU TUBE"
Now there's an ad hoc argument. Though you're right that YouTube would have been nothing without it's users/customers, neither would Ford, Mircosoft, whatever company in the world. So I do believe your sense of entitlement is somewhat misguided. There are alternatives to YouTube. Also, there's no "oral contract" as you call it. It's call YouTube - not YourTube.
By the by, there are no oral contracts, but there does exist an written contract, it is called the "terms of service", followed by the "YouTube Privacy Notice" and "YouTube Community Guidelines". You agree to follow these terms and guidelines or face the consequences when signing up for an account.
You really should go read the whole damn texts, if for nothing else than to get a little smarter before posting crappy comments.
Ha ha ha! Freedom of expression - provided your expression meets with our approval. Wow, that's some freedom. Don't these folks realize how ironic that is?
Google and Youtube engage in doublespeak.

It's the same issue as net neutrality.

Oh, do not take the music as some kind of underlying statement. I have change it a lot of times.
I had to find one which suited the short length of the video, without it being too awkward being cut off after 29 seconds.

:)
