Well to be honest, for me. I've never liked being a DPS in PvE. I just feel like there are tons of them and we're not that needed.

I always feel like: I'm more needed as a healer or tank. And I love switching between these specs to always keep the fun up.

I just hit 80 recently and i dont know how i should start collecting decent healing gear for heroics? all i can think of is farm gold like crazy and by the best stuff i can find on ah.

What I did:

- Trained minning..

- Got the whole Savage Gladiator's Ornamented set

- Got the Titansteel healing mace.

- Bought alot random stuffs in AH

- Spammed the easiest HCs and sneaked into OS raids ^^.

Another tip is really, when people ask you for your spell power:You have to higher it really, 'cuz loads of the people don't think you can do it....

But spell power and int isn't all - you need skills and experience.

Experience you get fast if you're focused.

That was the way I took. GL!

I also diden't care if the gear was plate/leather/cloth or whatever - as long as it had better stats than my older one.

Then as I got into raids I started gearing as plate! :)

look up gear on atlas loot then run that instance even if its a 75-89 instance the blues are good to start with and the epic mace from hero nexus is good u can outheal a t8.5 druid in blues lol Its skill and a pally

I know my thing, I've been playing since before The Burning Crusade. Ways of healing have been developed in many ways, there are some guidelines... But NO wrong or correct way to do it.

For me it's more of an emergency spell, it saved my target alot of times which It wouldn't have done if I would have been using it more and it might would been on CD.

We all have our ways to heal, but in the end we serve the same purpose - The way you do it doesn't matter, as long as you will fulfill your purpose.

Holyshock has got 3 disadvantages:

- It has a cooldown

- It's less manaefficient than FoL & HL

- It makes a nonhealingwindow of youre gobalcooldown + the next spellcast

So it's not a great spell, the ONLY time i use it, is when players get a ALMOST-1Shot and i know FoL or HL will land to late.

Get to know you're class better and even when u say stupid things, at least use arguments.

@ClioV124WD actually man you're completely wrong... if you're going crit spec with flash of light holy shock crits make your next fol instant... but if your specced for holy light with mass intelect holy shock is really good to use because of the 20% more crit chance on your next holy light... i agree its not the greatest spell... but it definately has its uses, so maybe you should learn a little more about your class before you start calling other people stupid

when i'm on my paladin, i heal exactly with the same style.

Although my priest with T7 and T7.5 also does 26K+ greater heals, so i think pala and priest are the same when it comes 2 healing MT.

And for all the people who say u need addons, they are wrong. The fact that they need addons doesnt mean others need them.

'course I have raid with my holy pala, and yeah it's kinda hard and all the stuff and it's a lot of fun too... and yeah, heroic shit and all stuff... the point I'm trying to show is that after many raids you just learn how the boss attacks and the mob around it moves and all the stuff.... but with people that never happens... you could just learn how SOME people plays and fights but is not like learning how fkighting those people you would just know how to be good against everyone else...

heroics is nothing compare to hard mode raids play ur holy paladin run totc 25heroic or ulduar 25 hard modes after u c the intence of it then u can lecture me bosses in raid even if u know there attacks its random pve is just as hard if not harder then pvp

Im just saying IMO, minus the bonus spell power, you can grab like 4 other maces that you can use at lvl 78, i had no epics, no 10/25 man runs or anything from my guild, i spent the time leveling questing for the items i needed and did the runs i needed, the min i hit 80 i was healing heroics.
