Cynthia Potter's comments were perfectly accurate and appropriate. Diving has indeed improved since her day but that doesn't mean she isn't capable of properly analyzing dives and events. She knows the circuit and won a bronze medal in the Olympics. Have you done better? What pitiful comments from the critics of a commentator!

yeah cynthia potter is one THE worst commentators. it sounded like she just made things up leading up to and during the olympics. diving has changed a lot since she dove.
