Yeah, Mosins, like most wartime rifles, werent built with great triggers in mind. You can make them alot better though with a washer and about ten minutes of various filing and checking.

The stock trigger on my Remington 700 is set to 3.5 pounds and only has 2 ounces of variation... Firing position, sight picture, breathing control, trigger squeeze. Four fundamentals of marksmanship. Not equipment... Good video but a "stock trigger" is a bad excuse for not shooting well.
