  • Has anyone else noticed how morbid his example problems are!? Its always death rate or earthquake rate, number of diseased :D

  • Practical stuff starts at 20:30. Everything before that is just review and theoretical stuff, and proving the values of the mean and variance. If you don't need to know how you get those values, just skip to 20:30.

  • This lecture focus mainly in explaining Poisson Distribution and comparing it with Bernulli.

  • is there not a danger that you will confuse probility with reality like the Black-Scholes people did; but not Black, Scholes or Merton. When you were constructing that graph in the 1st quadrent and talking about INTERMEDIATE values I watched in facination to see if you would cross into the negative quarter (the future) but I did find out where (e to the negative power) came from in the B-S formula james hilferty

  • More I watch these videos, the videographer is losing their talents. Last 5 minutes of this video is terrible for note takes
