I strongly disagree. Playing new music is cool, but do not forget the classics. An old tune can often be "new" to many people, because a lot of tunes are ahead of their time, and many tunes are altso timeless. It's all about what you want to present yourself when playing. My $0.02

true enough, but in my experience people react best to a set of mostly good new tracks (cause thats what part of a djs job is: to promote new songs and bring them to the people) and then a couple of classics that everyone will know.. but if its all really well known older stuff it kinda gets stale in my opinion.
