All I can say is you keep it 100! So refreshing to see my decision to simplify my regimen, not spend megabucks on products, and be PATIENT!! is the the right track. I have only been on this journey for 6 weeks and my hair is responding well. I have found the coconut oil to work beautifully, I have to start trimming my splits and ends...I must confess that I have to co wash simply because I am working out almost daily and just feel cleaner with my co washing... Congrats on your baby!!

I kept trying to find a different way and all the manipulation would give me breakage and the style wouldnt be right so Id end up having to bun it anyway lol. Now im doing two frenchbraid plaits. I plan for those to be my two main styles. I'll save all the extra for special occasions lol

I decided to BC last year because I had a lot of heat damage from blow drying my hair every week at the salon. I have been natural for 5 years and at first my blow outs were looking great and eventually my ends were bone straight. For the last year I have been wearing wigs and my hair is growing. I plan to do twist-outs next spring.

ur absolutely right... when my friends ask how did my hair grow they always want to know what hair dresser i'm using what product. they don't want to hear it has nothing to do with that. it takes time to learn what your hair needs and creating a new habit. once you got that your pretty much golden. i enjoy my hair so much more since i've discovered the hair care community. congrats on your pregnancy!
