Hey! Your intonation is good! Keep up the good work! I'm sure you'll improve by leaps and bounds one day. I guess most adults who pick up the violin at our age instead of during childhood tend to be more tense/ nervous but confidence comes with more practice. Happy Playing!
... THIS is the song that insprired me to play the violin when i was 10. ^.^
I always thought it was called "Touch by the Master's Hand" though, and now 7 years later i find out it's called.... what's the offical Title and Artist...?
How long you play? Do you have a teacher? Also, where you got that accompaniment? Your intonation is good, work more on your right hand, full bow, relaxation - not easy. Try for 1 month to do just open strings, full bow slow, count to 4 on each string, 4 times each string. Try to get the full violin sound, keep bow parallel to the bridge, not much pressure, just a little bit. Don't do the vibrato yet, it's early.
Good luck! It's very slow for every one, not just you.
I'm playing since about 2 years. Yes i have a teacher and she's agree with you, she often tell me to be more focused on the right hand. About the accompaniement, i think it comes from a MIDI file that i found somewhere on internet.
You are right. I mostly use the upper part of the bow. I'm trying to correct it. I was playing standing up and when i was using the lower part of the bow, it happened many times that i hit the ceiling with the bow because this room is very low. So now i sit down to play.
About vibrato, i don't yet manage to do it properly. I'm trying to train it but my arm is fastly tired.
I would like to play great, thanks for your comment !
Longer bows, and vibrato once you're ready.
Good intonation though, which to me is the most important thing.
