That clip of the car pulling out in front of the bike is from a news report on an unmarked police car in Spain, pulling out in front of a fleeing criminal who had taken hostages with a grenade. He apparently wanted drug money and a fast sportbike to try to get away with the money.
0:50 = i was taken down exactly like that. the girl ran over a red light, i had green lights and nowhere to go. i was lucky that i did not get hurt seriously.
I hate even thinking about this. BUT safety precautions and improved skills are ALWAYS the ounce of prevention that can prevent the proverbial pound of cure.
Nice post. Also remember how many times riders on the street have a "get off" and instead of sliding forever like on a racetrack they hit curbs, trees, guardrails, cars, etc....
That's why people should take it to the track instead of squiding out on the street.

If that paper marker was a tree or power pole....
I really like speed but not as much as I dislike hospitals.
It seems that too many people think that they'll either die or not get hurt at all.
Being crippled isn't going to be any better even if it is called "physically challenged".
I don't know about everybody else but life for me is challenging enough healthy.
"No Fear" is not the same as "No Clue".
