  • How is the audio of the camera itself? does it record live bands well?

  • @brickriverband Yes Kodak zi8 has very good built in mic considering the small size, and it auto-levels itself to work for live music. But a great feature of this camera is the external mic jack so you can use different kinds of mics. See the recent "Emily Wells + Dan The Automator" video on my colbruce youtube channel for an example of live song recorded with the built-in mic.
