@DaBluedude100 car and driver recently tested the crown vic intercepter. it could only muster a high 17 second run and trapped about 76 mph in the quarter, a bone stock 5.0 would just about smoke it. they also tested the new impala police car....v6 i yhink,and im sad to admit it ran in the 14s
If police were so passive about going after criminals it would be a free for all. More and more people would simply do as they please. @tooles41 Yeah- The guy got away... I HATE it when cops pursue people at that speed. The guy is NOT going to stop and is willing to DIE. If that stang hit and killed my wife and kids, I'd blame the cops he was running from. He wouldn't be fleeing so FAST if the cops weren't chasing. They have helicopters for that purpose. He'll run out of gas sometime! If they're not going to stop, don't RIDE THERE A--!!! They are going to just go faster.

on a hunch the cop decided to follow them..... BULLSHIT, cops always harass any mustang driver for no reason. i have personally been harassed for years, even followed for over 5 miles on the highway and have been pulled over 100 times with NO tickets, pure harassment. FUCK ALL CROOKED COPS

Thats why its a good idea to put a toggle switch on your fuel pump so it makes it harder for people to steal you car , thats what i did to my car .

It can still be stolen, my car had toggle switches, alarm, relocated hood cable and it was still stolen. Anyone who has access of a tow truck and still it. If someone really wants your car, they will get it.
