  • hand job :)

  • Cidden iyi döktürmüşsün hocam (:

    Jimi Hendrix görseydi hayran kalırdı..

  • this is the türkish power

  • NICE JOB, MAN.

  • HAIL LED ZEPPELIN BROTHER !! !! ! !! ! !! !!

  • Would you happen to know how to restring the baglama? I need some type of tutorial. I ruined two strings trying to a moment ago. I need help!

    i like it :)

  • Someone has just given me an old baglama to renovate - I have yet to re-string it and tune it properly but I play blues and it has a loveley bluesy sound to me

  • I'm Turkish American and I love this.

  • wow love it

  • You never heard of Ismet Topcu right ? :)

  • This a great combination of Middle Eastern and The American South. Two sounds you don't think of working together well. However its pretty damn awesome.

  • this is a good improvisation..liked it very much

  • fantastic..

  • A swede playing american music on a turkish instrument.

There is still hope for the world.

  • That's class!!! Maith thú!!!

  • hi again. i was wondering what the tuning of the saz is?

  • there are two versions, long scae and short scale. (which is really shorter than the long one).

also people generally tune it to what they want. the strings has no tuning harmony (like 5 steps in each string).

long baglama default tuning (the one in the video):

    top Bb or A#

    middle F

    bottom C

but i cant say which tuning is on the video.

  • benı ızleyın bu sacma

  • baglamaya ilginc bi hava katmisss :):):)

  • it reminds me "the tea party"

  • that is cool bro!nice work!

I think this instrument is cool, i searched some other videos related baglama and i have found some cool stuff yet i think it is a little bit sorrowful. i mean when i listened other videos not this, that made me sad. anyway good video!

  • bağlama means not bağlamak it is turkish instrument

  • it's awesome... i've always thought that saz is one of the best instruments and this video is the proof! congrats...

  • Very nice mix of blues an oriental. I think it is^^

  • Baglamanin ne kadar otantik bir enstruman oldugunun cok güzel bir örnegi, tesekkürler.

  • Now we can make the Bağlama versin of "Cross Roads" :D

One Turkish bart can say "I am giving you all the magic" :D:D

  • That's an amazing sound and radical fusion of cultural traditions. I just wondered what the word baglama means, the Greeks call a very small instrument Baglama which is central to the rebetika tradition (a genre parallel to the American blues)I guess the word is turkish .

  • baghlama, from the verb baghlamak, means "to cry"

  • u r wrong brother,"bağlamak" means "to tie" or "to fasten" in turkish

    that "to cry" was "ağlamak"

  • .,!,. <(*u*)> .,!,. awesome

  • sweeet. nice going man.

  • Awesome mate, well done, nice sound

  • nice experiment but the sound is not so good.

  • Agree, my webcam kind of sucks in the respect of recorsding sounds, and it is a pretty cheap baglama...

  • hehe hacı naptın :D

  • whats ur tuning??

  • In this clip it's ADA....

  • SWEET!

  • HAHAHAHA this is so cool!

  • Nice experimentation. Although the style is distinct, it is interesting to see how baglama still shows its own character.

  • tuh! tam da yapmayi dusundugum biseydi.neyse yapsaydim da seninki kadar guzel olmazdi.nice one mate!

  • awesm

  • I am very impressed this style of baglama, hope you will improve it more.

  • this looks great .. playing like ARiF CLAPTON

  • My first video ever posted was supposed to be a cumbus video, but I got more hooked on the baglama....

Cool idea of trying to play some turkish music with bottleneck, would probably sound like Erkan Ogur! :)

  • Nice playing. Btw, when are you going to post a cumbus video?. I own one too...

What could happen I you played turkish music with your bottleneck?
