  • Amazing!

  • I too want to work on developing real Star Trek related technology so we can all have better more affordable healthcare, maybe even free. I am tired of all of the political, and nay sayers keeping us back from real progress and from bettering ourselves for all mankind

  • Very cool idea. Has potential but can also flop big time with poor diagnosis, leading to very unfortunate outcomes had the person just saw a real doctor. Also, I wonder what kind of possible tole this could take on pediatricians or other doctors business. Overall, convenient but could result in disasters.

  • @OwenKnowsTech Thats why there is a thing called testing. :)

  • @MrLegendman3 lol, obviously it would be tested previously to being released, but the idea in general is what I was referring too.

  • @OwenKnowsTech Yeah i know. Though im gonna be optimistic and say this will work out correctly 80% of the time when it first comes out. :)

  • Man's mind is his basic tool of survival. We'd get more of this stuff in a world which took Ayn Rand a bit more seriously.

  • @MrAdvancedAtheist Rand got it right with commercialize applications of scientific development. But for developing the core science principles, only the state has the resources to manage that kind of risk.

  • @MrAdvancedAtheist Shut up you stupid little boy. Play time is over.

  • @MinotawrTV I probably should have said, "Man's mind is woman's basic tool of survival." Chicks couldn't have come up with Scanadu on their own.

"There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs." -- Paul Krugman

  • Brilliant design thinking...but what I always wonder is weather we are taking it too far with technology? I mean in the short term it seems like a brilliant solution. But in the long term most industry/technology has served to make us become domesticated servers of the screen. I wish for a life without so much virtual interaction and more real sensual interaction to remind me that I am human.
