Both Tim Hardin and Phil Ochs were bi-Polar. The tragedy of the mental illness is not only does it rob the victim of peace, it robs the world of their creative genius.
@rakeuiff Well I wasn't sure which part was Rubbish, so I checked out what I had heard at the time of Mr. Hardin's death, which was said by a local DJ, he had died of a reaction to a combination of medications he was taking for depression or anxiety. However according to an article from Triste UK, it was heroin and morphine intoxication. I apologize for posting unverified information.
Got out of a car at a crossroads to start university when the radio was reporting the death of Tim Hardin. Tim's music has a beauty and class that made his death all the more tragic - what might have been, as with the Buckleys, Phil Ochs, Jim Croce and other greatly gifted losses.
