the quality is the best i can make it since it has yet to be re issued or restored. . This clip was originally posted by chico75pi who passed in 2007. I don't have a copy of this. I was simply reposting since they took his account down earlier this year

@enward327 I agree enward, you would think by now this would be on DVD or blu ray all restored, but NO you have to settle for washed out copies on VHS , with PAL to NTSC conversion even in some cases. There was an album Verve recorded around the same time that is yet to be issued also.. Called Ella in Nippon. They promised this in the 90s.. and this video was from a Japanese special called Ella and Roy , made in 1964. I would love to have a restored copy of it.

not angry lol ...I wish more would post :( You cannot imagine worldwide how much footage of Ella there really is. If you look at youtube there is only a handful. You are right the artist totally deserve correct spellings....I get mad when i see that someone has posted Ella Fritzgerald lol....I get what you mean.

I totally agree- ther can never be enough of Ella especially with Tommy Flanagan. Let´s hope someone will post the whole Helsinki concert. (I saw it and it was great). Regards.
