  • @WildBill6942 yea 16, drivers license. cassette player and all the great songs blasting out on 10. Great times.........

  • 9 faggots

  • Omg i forgot this tune ,,lol love it yeah !!!!

  • One of the all-time classic hard rock albums for sure!

  • ooooh somewhere in the distance...I here the bells ring...darkness settles on the town....as the children start to sing....WHO THE HELL writes lyrics like that anymore????? Def Leppard rocks!

  • @rock64bg that would be "hear" I;m not illiterate...I promise! lol

  • excellent 80's band...they really had a strong lead singer in Joe Elliott, totally underrated back up melodies.....great producer Robert Mutt Lange...

  • Good stuff

  • it's 2012 and it's never to late to rock this tune!!!!

  • This song is a Classic. It popped in my head out of nowhere .i had to listen to it. it has been so long since i heard it.Takes me back. love it! Classic 80's.

  • Thank you for posting this song For at least a year now, I have been racking my brain every-now-and-then, even searching Youtube to find whom was responsible for this memorable heavy-metal-guitar- riff-intro (or whatever you call it)! I kept thinking it was Def Leopard, even somewhere in the Rock of Ages song, but of course it wasn't it. Now I can sleep at night, lol!

  • @piggybunt Steve?......

  • R.I.P. Steve, my sweet angel.... it's been almost a week since the 21st anniversary of your death... I really like this video... especially Joe's hair <333

  • Yeah the best 'Joe hair' and his eyes ;)

Me: Cuz bitch "It's Too Late For Love", and "You're Bringin' On The Heartbreak", so you better stop "Foolin'" with me!

  • DEF LEPPARD 4LIFE !

  • I forgot how powerful this shit is ...time to dig up the first 3 lep cds

  • Amazing :)

  • Anyone seen the other video of that: the band canoe in a foggy river at night etc. I borrow some DL video long time ago from library and seen it. Never seen after that. Shit, i bring it back! Hope you understan my poor english, i`m from far, far Finland. And east-edge.

  • @mvpsfin FINLAND \m/

  • Why do people often say that glam metal sounds sissy? This is hard as fuck!

  • @VitalSigns1 because these days there is an epidemic of ignorance

  • @VitalSigns1 Def Leppard wasn't a Glam Metal band.

  • @DubrowMark I guess it depends on your definition of glam. 85% of the so called "glam" bands are strictly heavy metal or hard rock. The only reason they get attacked is because of their image. Who gives a shit what they look like? I care about their music, and they can play damn good stuff!!!!

  • great Joe Elliott !

  • Steven Maynard Clark was suck an awesome musicly accomplished guitarist its sad hes dead... he was so cool and unique and its horrid, that every day goes by without him here...

  • Glad I was there.

  • Just plain f...... awsome rock`n roll !!

    Thank you for posting !

  • you meant steve clark not smith.

  • cool seein all these vids i saw as a teenager ,

when rick allen still had both arms before his accident and before Steve Smith, died!!

when Phil Colin joined the group replacing Pete Willis, was probably the best thing ever for the group, he was so much more hip, trendy and to the times,, which made their appeal last for a long time,, THEY ROCK

  • @johnniec300

I think you're underestimating the number of Pete Willis-era fans still out there. Similar to Sammy Hagar joining Van Halen, the line-up change may have increased sales, but, I don't know that the quality of the music automatically improved as a result. If anything, in both bands, the music definitely became MUCH more accessible and radio-friendly for sure. Personally, I don't see that as anything to brag about.

  • What a remarkable band! Is Def Leppard in the RRHOF yet?

  • 1:03 light bass \o

  • i loved this song so much when i was little im 15 now AND I STIL LOVE IT!!!!

  • @paulmccartneyishot Stuff like this NEVER gets old, NEVER dies, and it's the reason the kids today are remaking all our chit from back then from clothes to hair to songs to movies !!!!

  • @princessoffire1107 Amen to that !

  • @princessoffire1107 I aint startin an arguement, but I'm one of the ONLY people in my high school (i'm 15) who doesn't listen to that pop shit! I only listen to Def Leppard, the Mighty Zeppelin, AC/DC etc.

A few fuckin' bad apples set a steriotype about kids today, but that's how it goes

My parents listened to Def Leppard while my mom was pregnant with me.

I GOT ROCK IN MY BLOOD!!!

  • I wished I lived in the 80's...

  • I love this song, but it sure sounds like Turn The Page by Bob Seger at the beginning.

  • BEST MUSIC FOR DRIVING AROUND AT NIGHT,,,,MEMORIES

  • @MsSuburban2 you are so right....so right:D

driving in the roads of Greece(Hellas)

  • the boys in their prime

  • I love the scream at 2:48

    That's fucking epic

  • I love this song and Def Leppard!!!

  • Que rola ,, en serio la había escuchado muy casual pero de lo mejor..

    Keep on Rock!!

  • i got the album when it came out

  • i still got the album that is where i first heard it

  • awesome song! heard it for the first time on the radio and fell in love with it!

  • This music has heart where the garabage of today is useless and without meaning. These guys were singing about the problems of the 80's and how we as a people needed to stand up and stop them. Now today things are ten times as bad and all the bands can sing about is being gay and killing their own people because of where they live. God help this crap hole of a country, its not what I servered her for!

  • the best song i could ever listen too

  • GREAT BAND----LOVIN SONG!

  • How many bands have more than 1 SUCH good songs like they do??!! This song is TOO-GOOD!!

  • ONLY TRUE FANS ACTUALLY LISTEN TO THE SONGS!! ONE OF DEF LEPPARDS BEST!!

  • This song is just pure awesome. In addition though, the video is done incredibly well. The simple style which was still relatively common in 1983 worked so great with this song. At 0:57 the transition is just so perfect if gives me the damn chills.

  • For 5 people, it's 'too late for love'!

  • @bonovox1970ify Yea those people happens to be fans of Lil Wayne and those people are listening to lolipop crap

  • love def leppard

  • why is there a dislike button on this video??

  • def leppard the best band ever......

  • I love the scream at 2:48 "Too LAAAAAAAAATE!!!" Sends chillds down my spine. Goddamn Joe Elliot has a powerful voice.

  • Best Def Lep song by far

  • i was waiting for the guitar solo with the drums pounding and it got shortened otherwise good video.

  • incredible song!

  • The leps are the best thing to come out of sheffield .Go on lads fill yer boots with this world!!!!

  • it's never Too Late for Def Leppard = )

  • some songs just never get old. this is one of them. every time I hear it it's like the first time.

  • my theme song....

  • Bettyt, this is for you..from Chris.

  • man, i wasn't an 80's kid, but i will say this much...the 80's was definitely the era when rock/metal was at its highest height, and its all because of bands like the one you're listening to right here. i wish i coulda grown up back then so bad; it had to have been awesome

  • wheres the fuckon rest???

  • its too late for 3 people...

  • About time somebody put up a high quality video/music!!! Nice Job!!

  • loooooooooooveeeeeeeee

  • Let's see... Out of 94,888 viewings( including mine), we have 574 likes... and 3 Lawence Welk Fans !!!!! Who'd have thunk it !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Small group of LOOOOOOSSSSSEERRRRRRSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

  • yeah ik! Rick Allen busting out his drums, the best part of the song, i listen to it over and over again

  • aww they cut out the best part in this edit

  • @WhitesnakeVids yeah ik! whitsnakeVids when Rick Allen was busting out his drums, thats the best part of the song

  • Joe elliot was a sexy dude. Great album.

  • DEF LEPPARD AWESOME FOREVER N EVER!!! LOVE U GUYS!!!!

  • Good old days, best line up ever, before Phil Collen had to much influence on the sound. Just watch who plays the guitar solo.

  • @dannywizz Great song, epic album. What guitarists played on this album? Was it all Clark and Wilis or did Collen play on it as well?

  • @davebautista1 Good question. I think Collen only played on music videos after the songs were recorded, not sure though. Clark was the main guy however and one can really see a difference to the later albums were Collen has more influence. No offense to Phil Collen, he is a great guy and musician but I feel Steve Clark had a gigantic impact on the Def Leppard sound I love!

Pete Willis got fired some half year before the release of Pyromania. So he definitively was involved in some way.

  • @dannywizz I am sure losing Pete Willis had a big influence as well. I do like the Hysteria album, just not as much as the 1st three albums. Anything after Hysteria is not even worth talking about.

  • @davebautista1 I totally agree with you. I mostly listen to the High N Dry album cause I like its raw sound and simplicity. I hardly listen to anything after Hysteria but they do have one or another song that is ok. Pete Willis, Steve Clark and Mutt Lange had the most influence on the Def Leppard sound that we like I presume.

I think Def Leppard after Steves death were a little bit to cocky because of the Hysteria success and they saw themselves as invincible. I think Mutt Lange knew it!

  • @dannywizz I have tried to listen to Def Leppard after Hysteria, but I just don't like their softer pop sound. High 'N' Dry and Pyromania are awesome albums and for them to put out an album like Slang is a disgrace. Many bands have changed their sound (Metallica) for instance and their music is still good. Load and Reload are nothing like Master of Puppets, but I still like many songs off of those 2 albums. Also, Metallica's last album was great. Why can't Def Lepp rock on an album again?

  • @dannywizz Collen only played the guitar solo on Stagefright, and according to bandmates and Mutt, he nailed it in one take. Pete had already laid down guitar tracks on the rest of the album, and I'm willing to bet he was fired the minute Phil's solo left five jaws on the ground.

  • @raypowersmusic Yeah, you are probably right. Pete were a drunkard at that time. Collen is a proficient guitar player nevertheless but I do prefer Clarks style of playing and songwriting.

  • @dannywizz Well, yeah - and I'll bet Phil will readily agree with you! He was enamored with his counterpart's innate ability to sound like he was born with a guitar in his hands. Steve was one of a kind. Being a 'rock star' came naturally to him.

  • joes fucking sexy!!!!!!!!! i havent heard this song in forever, like years! it makes me wanna cry!

  • When this album came out I picked it up on cassette and would take my BMX bike and strap my boom box to teh handlebars and ride all over town listening to this tape over and over until all 16 C batteries died lol - 1983? lol

  • @scgiants I totally got the visual of that...if I would have seen you I would have given you the rock on hand sign!

  • @scgiants Was that you?

  • Dep Leoppard = rediculous young, careless, reckless, fun lovin caos and kicken keg party drunkeness to no end!!! Lot's a babies were born cuz a them.....

  • Was the best road trippen beer drinken chic layen time ever!!!!!!!!!!!! thanks 80s rock

  • When I was living in Dublin and the UK, I took a day trip to Sheffield. Boy did they live in a shit town, but the people were awesome!

  • is it just me or does the first verse sound a bit like "turn the page" by bob segar? (Btw, I mean no disrepect...I think Def Lep is one of the best bands ever.)

  • Fantastic!

  • It's never too late, Joe. I live only half a km from you and my husband swears I planned it that way! Oh hell, you only live once...
