A vinyl cutter records sound to a lacquer disc.

@MiracleKD18 Actually dude this is a vinyl cutter... most of the videos that come up when you search for "vinyl cutter" are related to machines like this: machines that cut vinyl, particularly for stickers. I know what you are taking about, so there are two different things called vinyl cutters. Just because this isn't the kind of vinyl cutter your looking for doesn't mean its not a vinyl cutter.

no, I buy the vinyl in rolls. There are several vendors who sell it in 8", 12", 24" wide rolls. I get them in 24" rolls and cut them down to fit in the cutter. Lasts a long time. Cubesmith is too expensive for something like this, unless you only plan to cut a few stickers, in which case it's not worth buying a cutter.
