  • Jesus Christ is Lord, have faith in him.

  • God is. God is more then we can discribe. God is and will always be. God is a friend, a lover, a healer, a king. God is!

  • gay

  • BBBBBBORING!

  • Yeshua Hamashiach,Jesus Christ is God. God is the messiah. God is our savior.

  • I can relate Matt! I've been lazy & complacent all too long .. I've confessed it & there is a burning inside me wanting a change & surrender to Him. I love your work .. you are definitely gifted by the Lord. Honor Him with it & be blessed.

  • This is so refreshing.

  • why would you say your a lazy christain if youv always had faith then you can never be lazy just didnt have your faith showing its just been hideing a little

  • @CHAOSTATTOOVIEW20 I've had faith but it's like I haven't done much with it. When I made this video I hadn't been trying to reach others or be a light to them very much so I decided to change all of that starting with the video.

  • God is the creator of the universe... "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." John 1:1 God is His word, and His word is He. He spoke existence into existence. Jesus is God, manifest in the flesh: "He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not." John 1:10 "I and my father are one", "If you have seen me, you have seen the father", etc. "If Christ be not raised, your faith is vain..." If He is not God, faith in Him is vain.

  • @2spotlefty My bible must be wrong? Because it says a Giraffe was Himself manifest in the flesh...Darn, I must be so stupid to believe something like that written down and passed down in a book.

  • googel islam :D

    hope u finde peace

  • juesis crised isn't going to help you, couz if he couled he would of helped himself!

he is not the "son" of god, he is just a messnger from god, quit being cristen :)

and to find god this is your first step, just cilck on here and open your mind

  • God is the calm voice I hear in my head, All the other voices are past choices I've made retelling me how to make my next choice. In essence God is I.. I'am.... The kingdom of Heaven is within, Is this not what Jesus preached? I belive thier is a creator, And he knows everything about us because he is literally a part of us...I also believe this is exactly what jesus was trying to teach us. p.s. I'm not crazy..

  • @davesajerk nicely said =)

  • Thanks for the vid, matt

The question "who is God" is difficult to answer. He is such a complex being that it would be impossible to understand Him fully. I like to compare it to the grand canyon. Seeing how majestic and beautiful it is makes you want to see more. However, there is an end to the grand canyon. Praise God that His love never ends.

my advice: dont trust what anyone says about God based on their own experiences experiences. Let God speak for Himself through His Word

    peace

  • Thanks! Glad you liked the video. Praise God :)

  • Good deal, Matt--keep trusting the Lord.

  • you're a very good boy.

keep doing what you believe is right, and stand for it, no matter what anyone says.

  • aw this is really sweet of you <3 thank you for posting this

  • If you question who/what you are answer this...what number can not be found throughout the universe? The absence of that number is the explaination that everything is that number.

  • xXRoxasKH2Xx...try thinking of this...all of the energy that surrounds you and is you is still 1 energy...merely expanded. Imagine you had a ton of flour with which you baked a million different things...each may vary slightly in ingredients but what do they all have within.

  • We are all the children of our parents and the parents of our children, we are all the beginning and the end, we are all god...not "gods"...god.

  • energy, energy can turn into matter. This is true for all things, from something as complex as you and I; to something as simple as a pebble. Yet is the pebble not also made up of atoms and energy? Therefore, we are one with this pebble. Because our energies are the same, or our wave patterns are equally made up of the same things, just a different place at a different time. Energy runs threw everything and is everywhere around us. This energy must've originated from 1 source that started it all

  • God isn't a physical being we can just simply imagine. He is metaphysical and imagining him as something within our minds, bounded by the laws of physics, limits his limitless power. We can't think of him or describe him, we can only describe his actions and the miraculous things he's done. I like to think of him as a presence. He's always there, around us, in everything. He is everything because he created everything. We are all made up of atoms, which then turns into wave patterns. Matter is

  • good man...prayin foru

  • Thanks

  • God is Jesus Christ, Jesus said this you see me you see the father. Living for God first starts with faith a beilef then salvation. Repentance, baptism in Jesus name, and then reciving the gift of the holy ghost.

  • God is a dog and has created us humans to entertain and feed the dogs, lol

  • ??? :/ I am rather confused

  • Comment removed

  • ...that does not surprise me. I assume you have not read any other book in your life, than the ONE and ONLY book you are dedicated too. So I think you are not much educated, are you? And even if you are, you most probably haven't ever try to use your brain, explore different paths of thinking and viewing the world....

  • However, due to my infinite grace, I will explain you why God could be a dog. I actually refer to creationism which says God created the animals to "entertain" the humans. Well, of course we human think we are more advanced than animals, we have language, technology and can perceive past and future. But on the other hand, the dogs were not much less successfull in living on this planet. Even they have an intelligence which enabled them to live here for millions of years....

  • Humans are a very sophisticated species, but it works with less or different approaches too. So where do we take the arrogance from to say God created the animals to "entertain" us, give us "joy". It could also be the other way round couldn't it. Of course we think we are supperior than animals, supperior than dogs. But based on what? Language, Intelligence etc.? These are just our own criteria again. If you play footbal according to your own rules, of course you'll win...

  • I actually had the idea when I walked back home from work lately... passing a dog that was laying in the sun and enjoying his free time. I mean we humans bother so much with what it's going on in our had. The lifestyle of a dog could also be seen superior to that of humans. And who knows.... maybe they (the dogs) just laugh about us. Thinking "You idiot humans, think you are God's children, think you are the chosen ones, but you are just here to give us food and play with us..ha ha ha....

  • Correction of my spelling mistakes:

    Comment 1, line 3, too=to

    Comment 1, line 4 try=tried

    Comment 2, line 3 human=humans

    Comment 3, line 5 supperior=superior

    Comment 4, line 4 had=head

  • God is a no nonsense man with a wicked-long beard. He loves all of us and knows what we're thinking and doing all of the time. He watches us always, even in the shower, but he's not a pervy wanker. He loves us all, except for fat people of course. He gave us free will and allows us to make our own choices, even if you're an atheist. He'll kill you and send you to hell to choke and burn and suffer and cry forever because he loves you. Tough love baby. He drives a Volvo too, because he's modest.

  • Jesus was, just from a historical standpoint. I promise you won't be disappointed. Besides all of the common arguments, for ex. creation vs. evolution, how old the earth is, etc. We all have to deal with who Jesus of Nazareth was. We all have to pick one side or the other. He was the biggest phenomena to ever walk this planet. He claimed he was God, and we have to deal with that. I say all these things with love, and I would love it if you would respond. I would love to discuss more with you.

  • Darn, I posted a whole other comment before this one and It never posted. Sorry hakkujin :/ I can't remember what exactly the first one said. These youtube comment posts need fixin.. This isn't the first time that has happened to me. Booo

  • We have to understand exactly what is to be a light to the world. Are we showing love to others, are we forgiving people when they wrong us, are we making a sincere effort to share the gospel, are we doing our best to be Christ like? Christians have hurt a lot of people my-self included. So we should start at the heart. That is where the Holy Spirit lives, and that sounds like a good place to start. Any thoughts?

  • Definitely true. From the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks.

  • he is the one and only one....the absolute one....nevere did he beget, nor was he begotten.....none equals him.

  • God is my all in all. What else can I say, There are no words good enough to justly describe or define God. People that deny that God exsists are missing out on so much. All we can do is pray and share the Gospel. And I have to come out with it too. I have been given many chances to share the Gospel and have just sat on my hands. And now is the time to fix that. Now that we have stated what God is, What are we going to do with that?

  • Thanks so much for your comment. How can we as Christians be more of a light to the world?

  • god is the creator of all and he sent his son Jesus to die for our sins so that we would be forgiven.

  • god is the creator of all of everything. that is the answer

  • Thanks for your response!

  • good ?ton i realy have no idea who or whut he is i see a lot of ppl and others things as a thret or just in my why god i ushowy talk to not ever sure if he lisons so i stop talking to him iv got noidea if he'll ever for give me or not

  • Hello ikki34346 :D I was just hoping I could be some sort of motivation for you, but He does listen. I am not sure what it is you are going through but He has heard you, and He will forgive you. If you would like to know how to get to know Him, just send me a message and I would be glad to talk to you more. There is nothing you have done that He won't forgive. I have done some pretty bad things, but his grace is sufficient. You are not alone. In love -Cody

  • live in your own glory its your life not gods..... u cant let people control you god or no god...........

  • MrMentalistic, I have a great amount of respect for you sir, but you might have some common misconceptions about the Christian faith. Contrary to what most people believe, Christianity is in no way a list of actions one is supposed to approximate their life to, and if they disobey the list God is very angry. Unfortunately this has become a common belief. Speaking as a Christian, I have never allowed anyone to take control of me or manipulate me into believing what I do. (Cont...)

  • however, I have decided to submit myself by my own accord to God. And because of this I have a freedom that I never could have imagined. I love because I want to love, I serve because I want to serve, it's an amazing phenomena. So all of Christianity is built on selflessness not because we have to, but because that's all we can do. I would love to discuss with you more if you would like to, if not then I understand. But I just want you to know how much love and respect I have for you. -Cody

  • i just dont understand how you can be happy letting somone else rule wat you do and how you act... my mum is christian to but she raised me to belive in in wat i want.... I want to belive that my accomplishments are because i worked to be wat i am and not because a greater force influenced them... I can see why some people would belive in god cause i did when i was younger, he was my savier and somone who held me up but now i know i can hold myself up and save myself.... its just wat i belive...

  • Yea, I definitely respect what you believe and I'm not going to push anything on you, but I still think you might be a bit confused about Christianity. I don't let God boss me around, give me rules, and tell me what to do. That just isn't what Jesus was about. Jesus was about loving God, and loving people, and I do these things because I love to do them. I do not feel pressured at all to do good works and try to achieve God's smile, I've already got it.

  • And I've got it because I have acknowledged his son, I've understood that nothing I can ever do is good enough, I can't sustain myself, I am a horrible, sinful, person. And I know we (including myself) like to think we CAN sustain ourselves, and we CAN hold ourselves together.. but for how long? Until we die? Then what?

I know there are alot of other theories, and religions, etc. out there man, but we have to deal with this guy Jesus. He claimed to be God and did miraculous things.....

  • He is the greatest human phenomena that ever lived. We have to pick a side, and I absolutely promise my life to you, that if you pick his, you won't regret it. Nobody outside of Christianity (true christians) can understand the absolute freedom, and overwhelming love we Christians have. I'm telling you from experience, I thought I didn't need God, I was doing fine on my own.. but when you have that transformation, you are never the same.. And you reach a level of happiness you never dreamed of.

  • So really, I just challenge you to really look into and research Jesus, and what he was about. Because there seem to be a lot of misconceptions about him, I love you man and wish you all the best. If you ever need anything just let me know, I'll be here on youtube.. -Cody

  • But if im right you trust god with everything you have... But he tests you all the time... why trust somone who doesnt trust you....

  • who is god (* humming*) sorry never rely thought about that stuff like that so i don't have a answer wait let me think more (1hur. later) ok i got something the guy that mad atom and Eva wait did i spell it right idk anyways thats my answer......i think......? O_O

  • God is the author and creator of life, the forgiver of our sins, salvation, forgiveness, my personal Lord and Savior. He sent His son to die for us so that all we have to do is trust Him and believe in Him - we do not have to do good works or try to live a holy life to gain entrance to heaven...just have faith.

  • Thanks for your reply!

  • I am SSSOOOOOOO glad tht there r other Christian YouTubers

God is real! He is the creator of ALL!!! u, me, the world, the universe, etc., etc., etc.

and I hav been a lazy Christian, too, dood! i'm not even sure ima real Christian! could u help ME out? plz!!!! I am in need of a fellow Christians help!

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

  • Sure how can I help?

  • nice attempt! keep it up n keep uploading such videos

  • He is The Almighty

  • I do not believe that vice and virtue are of equal value, my code of values, though independent of God, is something I hold to quite strongly. I imagine, that we are quite similar in our ethical beliefs. I believe in the Golden Rule, treat others the way you wish to be treated by them. I believe in trying to accept what happens with equanimity and to make the best of things. Kindness and courage are the most important virtues, with or without God.

  • All I can say is that I respect all people, I realize that faith is an enormous power in many people's lives, that many people who believe in God act with incredible kindness and generosity, but I don't have that belief and I still love others and try, not always successfully, to be a good person. Existentialists believe that, since there is not "ground for existence", i.e. God, that each person must create the meaning for his or her own life.

  • Hmm, It's like we are both trying to follow a very similar path. Except that my path has some sort of reason behind it. Regardless of how "crazy" faith is, it is still a reason. But the idea of love seems almost illogical to me in the scheme of survival and trying to make yourself as happy as can be- because loving can be hard and can hurt.

I have trouble trying to understand why someone would try to do the same "good" that I do, when they believe that love and goodness is all subjective? Thanks

  • Matt, I think you are an extremely good person. You are generous with your time and help, I am so grateful for all the times you have answered my questions ad given me suggestions.

But I have to say I do not believe in God. Being alive is an experience for which we all should be very grateful, getting to see the beauty of the world, the creativity and goodness of people. Fo me, the "Good" resides in how we behave in this life, what kind of moral choices we make, and this is all in the here/now

  • Sorry, I am not Matt, but I do consider myself a Christian. I guess I just had some thoughts for you to consider. Do you believe that we live in a subjective world or an objective world? (A subjective universe has no blue print, no direction. A subjective universe is completely random.) If you believe it is subjective then realize that love, compassion, and truth become nothing more than a subjective experience. (continued)

  • It may be your belief/opinion that others should be loving like yourself, but you have no compelling reason other than; personal opinion to persuade others to your point of view. Maybe you have no desire to persuade other to your point of view, but if you believe that the world is completely subjective, then your belief construct is as relevant as one who chooses to be a nihilist.

Understand that I do have a great respect for you and the way you live.

    Thanks

  • i loved the vide matt:) its jessica:)

  • at 0:30 you look like ryan reynolds lol

  • God is our Heavenly Father. He loves us so much and every thing He does is to help bring us back to Him.

  • God to me is... well... hes everything.

To me its just amazing how he can seem to love every single person on this planet even though we do sin.

    Hes just.... the best.

    thanks for the video.

  • Thanks I'm glad you liked the video!

  • @xFu510nx thanks for the video:) i loved it very much, loving the "WHO IS MATT JOHNSON?" video, haha soo cute;)

  • I really can't answer you, because I've been a complacent Christian as well.

But your video has made me change that, and i plan on going to church Wednesday because of it.

    Thanks.

  • Thanks that's such an encouragement to me! Let me know how church is!

  • How are you able to have so much faith in God? Without questioning the things he does, don't you ever think maybe this might be the wrong religion?

  • I've questioned everything and though I may not have all the answers, I still am completely convinced that this is the one true religion, and yet it is so much more than that. It is a relationship with the creator of the universe that was willing to become nothing to save someone as lazy and sinful as me. :)

  • I wish I was able to have that much faith..

  • Kay, so I'd like to say I smiled a lot throughout the entirety of this video.

To me, God can't even be put into words. Still an odd - but so right - feeling to me, His amazingness is indescribably... amazing.

I feel like I really should have, and do have more to say on the subject, but I can't put it into words. I'll work on it, though. :)

It's incredible how much the knowledge of God's presence and Jesus's love has changed my life so fully.

    Just incredible.

  • I am so glad you posted a video like this! My beliefs are strong in god. And am appostalic. Which is a very strong christian. Who is god to me? Everything. He is the reason why everyone is here today. I go by the bible when I get a chance to and I really love this video!

  • You know I use the bible to smoke weed.

  • Thanks I'm glad you liked the video!

  • hey matt it's jessica~i stepped on my cat remember? sorry my pohne is acting dumb:(

  • Ever wanted to know why Atheist don't believe in God? Check out my favorites in my channel, there are a lot of good videos in there. Who knows it may strengthen your faith and give you a edge on spreading the gospel.

  • Matt, it's Sam from Impact/A&M. Miss you, man!

First off, I love what you're trying to do. Secondly, who is God? God is why we are here. A lovely creator who we all take for granted, someone that we have no right to say He has done nothing for us, when He's done everything for us. A gracious lover, a giving Father, and a wonderful Savior. The best thing about it is that no matter what anyone says, they can never deny what amazing things God has done in my life.

    Love you, bro!

  • Thanks Sam! I'll see you at prayer meeting next semester!

  • God is a figment of you imagination. He's a meme, a thought that many people think is real, simply because many people think he's real. The best analogy, is Santa Claus. Yea, god is just like him.

  • Thanks for your input!

  • The way I look at it someone or something had to create something at the beginning! Scientists have the big bang theory and christians say its god! For me u dont get something from nothing without a miracle happening somewhere along the way! Do u guys know what i mean?

  • I can definitely understand what you're saying. There has to have been an instigating event that started it all. All scientists can agree on that.

  • i don't know what to believe, but i believe there is something or someone who started it all, because otherwise this all wouldn't be right now. This was a great video, i really like the way you talked about it, it was very peacefull and respectfull.

  • Thanks I'm glad you liked it!

  • God is the savior of us all. He loves you no matter what and will always be there for you.

  • I'm athiest, but i repect others views. Not bad that your trying to get things out there about your own views. I have a few of my own sooner or later i'll finnish up my video on that matter and post it when time allows. Till then, respect to thoughs that speek there minds freelly.

  • Thanks for your comment Peter. I was trying to be as respectful as possible in creating this video. I look forward to seeing your videos, feel free to post them as video responses when you upload them.

  • Good question...

I guess if there was one god, there would only really one religion. But then again may be it should be a mystery and we should just live our lives with we have been given and enjoy it.

  • Nice video.

  • Thanks glad you liked it!
