His first three movies Jailhouse, Love me Tender n King creole were better or atleast/decent than the rest.. Elvis' manager Tom made some lousy n selfish deeds and this pretty much destroyed Elvis movie career! cheers m8 :)

Who would have ever thought Elvis would make a movie with film noir dame Lisabeth Scott and veteran minor leading man Wendell Corey! Not a bad movie....much of the plot follows Elvis' own early career. THANKS for sharing this delightful footage with us!

Elvis hated the films Parker signed him up for. I adore Elvis and have since 1960 but those Girls girls girls type films were rubbish

This movie reflects real life in Elvis's day- Only the young in heart got excited, the old farts never could figure out what the fuss was about!! Many stations broke his records while live on the air- "Rock has got to go"!! What nerds, always be young in heart, listen to Elvis frequently!!!

Some one posted that this might be the closest to what it was like in Elvis's early touring days in the South in 54 & 55, but there IS film of an very young Elvis performing in the Sun studio days that is on YT. It is an early color home movie with Elvis & his early musicians on a small outdoor stage. Yes it is real, and yes they did have color home movies then because I have some of myself as a child.

Elvis never worm blue jeans in life except maybe on the Circle G ranch he owned for awhile. The denim is a costume just as any makeup is movie makeup. Elvis's eyebrows & lashes were darkened to match his hair color, but there is no evidence of eyeshadow. Are you stupid or just a hater?
