I know this is kind of late since the Isiah Thomas trial was a while ago but....I would like thank you for being a true black man and a true individual. Whenever a black woman is verbally or physically attacked...true black men have a built-in defense mechanism in our mental make-up to defend them. Isiah is looking at it from the perspective of the white man raping and abusing black women in slavery. Most of you can't identify because you're white, but blacks haven't forgotton the terrible deeds whites have performed on blacks. What he said sounds messed up but it is reality. I couldn't agree more. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are hypocritical. I'm all for equality, but I feel that they themselves are quite racist. They only seem to care when it's white racism towards blacks...and many times they try to make a race issue where there isn't one. Isiah Thomas is extremely racist, yet there is no outcry against him. In 1987 he said that Larry Bird was only considered a great basketball player because he was white...

Usually people who aren't racist don't agree with racist things that are said. Also during the sexual harassment trial Anucha Browne-Sanders testified that Isiah told her he didn't care about these "fucking white people" or these "fucking season ticket holders."

To be fair to Sharpton and Jackson, they did not get anywhere near as involved in the Duke lacrosse case as, for example, the NAACP, who wanted to convict the accused boys the day after the charges were filed. Still, calling them out on their lack of interest in black on black issues is worthwhile. However, Gelray, you are wasting your time on a complete classless ass of a human being in Isiah Thomas. He has proven it over, and over, and over again.
