"All appointed times have passed," Teshuvah has already been done, all matters of Divine service have been concluded, including "polishing the buttons," and [we] stand prepared to greet Moshiach; "the time of your Redemption has arrived";
watching this as the fast draws to a close. reaffirms our mission in the world,and what we need to take from today. may this be the last fast before the coming of Mashiach and the building of the Third Beis Hamikdash.
wow, great propaganda piece bishvil kol am yisrael. Its powerful even to secular Jews like me. However, I don't think rebuilding the beit hamikdash is going to solve all our problems. I agree with renewed ahavas yisrael tho.
@VeritasTruthEmet Hi, you say something important... but my take on it is that the rebuilding of the Temple is the outcome of Ahavas Hinam. It will not just "happen" without any relation to it. The solving of our problems is too an outcome of such Ahavas Hinam, and so are the problems of all the world. If there was Ahava and Ahdus then there wouldn't be wars, armed or unarmed, nor terror, nor crime, and we would indeed live in peace and that is what it is all about.
god hides, like yosef (Joseph) hid from his brothers, yosef hid when they cried we are not spies, he hid when they said our father is elderly and wont survive the stress dont take benyamin(benjain),he only revealed himself when yehudah (judah) said take me instead.
The lesson is, like yosef god will only be moved to reveal himself and help when brotherly love returns to the earth, when we stop looking the other way, and are moved to tears and the worlds state and help eachother, lord take me!!
Beautiful! Just one correction- G-d was never and will never be 'removed from this world'- it's just that it's a little harder to see Him now or communicate with Him due to our lack of Neviim (prophets).
if g-d was "removed" from this world then this world would cease to exist bc g-d IS everywhere and in everything at all times. The difference is, G-d's presence is here yet clouded over (almost hidden) and every time we do a mitzva we let HIS presence be revealed a bit more. Let's continue to do more mitzvot and have lots of ahavat yisrael so that G-ds presence can be here in a completely revealed way full of light!!!

the fast is only coming to a close here in Israel. Our brethren around the world are still in exile... oh God... may they return already!
