Why do i get the feeling that you guys have made her voice sound less understandable or just chosen clips where her voice is less understandable? On other videos and indeed on Xfactor i've always been able to understand her, and even on her three appeareances on US Xfactor, every word that come out of her mouth was crystal clear.
I live in Newcastle have done for 12 years but when I moved here I did find the Geordie accent really hard to understand... it is not offensive to say that. It's a fact that many foreigners and people from other regions within the UK find it hard to understand it especially when it's strong. Overall I really like the Geordie accent (not how chavs speak though) and think Cheryl would have been ok in the states
@MrNorthernstar Aye but its different when americans come over here to judge us. But since our accent is "Stupid" she can't do what she wants to do. its just the way we speak nobody should be able to judge us on that
I find this really offensive! I am also from Newcastle where Cheryl is from and i'm pretty sure she is as sick as i am when people say that our accent is hard to understand. its where we come from if you don't like it tough. Its a part of us!
@hidethesources What!? . . . . . . . . Theres 2 continents, North America, and South America, not 1 or 3 . . . . just 2 . . . . and the reason who people call USA - America, and it's people - Americans, is because it's basically just a nickname, and calling people "The United States of Americans" is too long and doesn't make any fucking sense . . . even though there is no country of continent called "America" . . . Capish? . . .
@TheSouthernPsycho What??? O.O Did you read what you just wrote? I know why the U.S. is also called "America" lol Read again and you'll see that's not what I was talking about. I said that there isn't 2 continents, called "north America" and "south america" there's just one continent called "The Americas" :) that is commonly separated in 3 parts: North america, South America and Central America. - I mean, if there is two americas then what should we do with Central America? LOL :) xoxo :)
@hidethesources Listen, I understand you . . . I've seen a lot of smart people I know say what your saying . . . and they mean it as either a misunderstanding or a opinion . . . but trust me, there are only 2 continents, North America and South America . . . Central America is mainly Mexico, and Mexico is in North America . . . there is no official place called Central America though.
@TheSouthernPsycho lol Mexico is from North America for sure! lol XD Why did you think it was from Central America? Mexico has never ever ever been from Central America XD And of course there's Central America! Where's Haiti, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Honduras located? They're in Central America lol which is smaller than North A. and South A., but it does exists :)
@TheSouthernPsycho There is just 1 continent named the AMERICAS and it is divided in 3 parts. North America (Canada, USA and Mexico) Central America (The countries I named before and some other more) and South America (Brazil, Argentina, Colombia.. etc) Read more here: (just delete the *) htt*p://*en.*wikipedia*.org*/wiki/Central_America Xoxo ^^'
@hidethesources Number one: that web address makes no sense what-so-ever . . . I think your going to have to explain more carefully. Number 2: if you are going to get you info from somewhere, DON'T get it from wikipedia, because anybody can write what-ever they want to write on that website, so in a lot of cases (especially this one), what you see is bull shit. Number 3: not all countries are part of a continent (ex: The Caribbean) . . . it's not hard to work out: TWO continents: NA/ SA . . .
Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, Oceania are the continents that could understand Cheryl Cole's Geordie Accent. She is understandable!!! Cheryl Cole for X Factor US Season 2
How could you have a hard time understanding her? Maybe if you're from the deep south, it would be a bit difficult, but for the most part, I'm sure most people can understand her just fine. There's never been a time when I couldn't understand her.
"I ate a spoonful of honey one day..." - Why the "?????????????"
Anyway, she's so much better looking than the other girl! Hot accent, too. I'd actually watch the show if she was on. Well, once in a while, maybe. I've never seen an episode before.
I'm an american and sometimes it's hard to understand her but there was no reason to give her the boot. she was still a good judge and i could mostly understand her

There are two continents that have the word America in it. North and South. Mexico falls under North. I think anyone older than 8 would know that.
