Doug Davidson from Y&R(he hosted the 1994 nighttime version),or Ray Combs would have been a suitable replacement had he lived because he had been alifelong TPIR fan.Since Shawn Michaels has retired from wrestling,I could see him adding excitement to the show because of his stellar microphone skills.Drew Carey can do stand-up comedy well,but it's not quite the same as hosting a game show.

He's going to be tough to replace, no matter who CBS gets. The guy has been around forever--he WAS the Price Is Right. What I'm afraid of is that CBS is going to start changing things, and that's going to ruin the show. Bob is probably the reason why they left things like they were all these years.
It's a good way for him to leave. Very good numbers. They should keep the sets, lighting and music the same. NOTHING SHOULD BE CHANGED. Everything has to stay the same. The lighting and music got much better on the show over the years. More cleaer and easier to listen to. New games are always fun on the show.
