@grobda1 i think its hardly possible. Our best hardcore arcade players wer working on this game for many years. We were close to finish it 1-cc but wel.. we didnt. :<

@grobda1 Not to sound arrogant, but in my old times I finished this game with one credit (and all the powerups) in the local arcade. It was long, long ago, though :)

Seriously, HOW do you beat that first boss? Without the mace it seems impossible, and even with it, I waste 5 or 6 credits on barely nailing it...

even back in the 80s, over 20 years ago, capcom had exact gameplay mechanics down pat. that's what i love about that company. when you play a game developed by them, you will NEVER get sloppy or lose controls and hit detection is nearly always exact.

I knew this game but I never played it... lol that boss Fudo looks the same Fudo from Hokuto No Ken series.

This is a good game, similar to Trojan also from Capcom. The game definitely is pretty difficult especially the later stages as like in Ghosts N Goblins and Trojan, the enemies never stop respawning. One of my favorite games on Capcom Classics Collection 2, and one of the reasons I looked forward to that coming out long ago. Good story as well, rescuing children from some evil dude, why he kidnapped him, I'm not so sure.
